Design and Display
Tecno Spark Pro features an impressive Plastic unibody, designed with a sleek and sexy outlook. Besting all of its predecessors in terms of design, the dual curved antenna lines further accentuates its beauty making it an attractive smartphone to behold.
The rear camera together with its LED flash are both positioned horizontally at the top left corner. The fingerprint scanner which avails you better security is located at the top center with the big TECNO logo siting just below it. In thickness, the device measures just 7.9mm in thickness. Tecno Spark Pro is available in 4 colors; Black, Champagne, Red and Blue colors.
Sporting a 5.5-inch HD IPS LCD capacitive touchscreen, it offers a luminescent display, made even better by the slight bezels showing on the edges. The navigation buttons are located at the bottom bezel of the device for easy navigation of the device.
It has a screen resolution of 720 x 1280 pixels with a 267 ppi density.
Hardware and Software
Just like most Tecno smartphones, it is powered by a MediaTek MT6737 chipset running on a Quad-Core processor clocked at 1.25GHz with 32-bit CPU architecture. Graphics is handled by an ARM Mali-T720 MP2 graphics processor.
In terms of RAM, Tecno Spark Pro has 2 variants. There is a cheaper version with 1GB of RAM and another standard version with 2GB RAM. Although, both variants have same inbuilt storage of 16GB which can be expanded up to 128GB via microSD card. Tecno Spark Pro runs on Android 7.0 Nougat out of the box based on Tecno’s customized HiOS 2.0 UI.
Camera
Camera-wise, the Spark Pro is good, sporting a 13MP rear shooter with a dual-LED flash. It is capable of capturing high-quality images and videos at 30 frames per second. The front camera located at the top left corner, features an 8MP shooter also with LED flash on its side.
Battery
The Tecno Spark Pro is powered by a non-removable Li-Po 3000mAh battery with no fast charging technology.
