The death of a teenage philanthropist, Nicole Wesoamo Pwamang, has caused huge expressions of emotions on social media. Nicole was diagnosed with cancer in her thigh somewhere in 2015 and has been in and out of hospitals since. But after a long battle with the dreaded disease, Nicole, who founded the Wesoamo Child Cancer Foundation, has died causing sadness for those who heard her story. Nicole set up the foundation to bring much attention and help to children suffering cancer. A graduate of the Fountinhead Christian School at Sakumono, Nicole got admitted at the Akosombo International School, all within the time she was suffering from cancer.

The brave teenager is expected to be buried on Friday, April 6, followed by a funeral at the St. Joseph The Worker Catholic Church, Community 8, Tema. Wesoamo Child Cancer Foundation had announced the tragic news on Facebook.
