PROLOGUE What is the relationship between the government and the governed?.In a west African country, a country known to be the giant of Africa cos of its large population. She isn't called giant cos she is a developed and 'mature' but instead cos of the people who live in her. Some are good, some are bad and some are ugly. The good ones are have the 'highest' percentage of the population (about 0.000000001%) while the bad and the ugly claim the remaining percentage which kind of make her one of the most corrupt nation,not even in Africa but she gained attention worldwide.She has one advantage though, she houses many people. Isn't that inviting?and its said that two heads are better than one,but come to think of it, is two thousand bad/ugly heads better than one good head? I don't need to answer the question but you all know the answer. Sit back and enjoy the sweetness and truthfulness in my speech.

President Dr.Shaxee M.;The newly elected president.He is a coolheaded man in his mid forties,46 precisely.Everything he thinks of is the development of his new wife.He is from the eastern part of the country.He is fair in complexion and married with a beautiful damsel(Ann).They are blessed with three children;two boys and a girl. Mrs Shaxee Ann;she is the wife of the newly elected president which automatically made her the 'first lady' of the republic.She is a dark beauty,she won the most beautiful lady in her university consecutively for three years.She is also from the same part,state,town,village as her husband.Although she isn't the best wife,she tried her best though a part of her is greedy which the president detest alot. Chief(HON) Valentine D;Shaxee opposition.He is from the south-western part of the country.He is dark in complexion and also have a kind heart which made him lovable.The reason for his downfall isn't clear though.He is 43 yrs old and married to the woman he thought was the right one,Tenniebenson.They are blessed with two children;both girls. Chief MRS Val Tenniebenson;The beloved wife of Valentine,she is a kindhearted queen.She is fair in complexion and also from the south-western part of the country. VP C Kola;the vice to Shaxee,his is from the south-western part of the country.He is a greedy man.His selection as the candidate of the Vice president is because of his brutality;no one dare challenge him.Only his wife and children are his weaknesses. Mrs Kola Mray;the wife of the vice president. All others will be known as the story goes on.....

Episode 1 12:02 CVP headquarter There were shouts of joy,jubilation,celebration and all sorts.The won the presidential election, what make one happy than seeing the reward of your hardwork. The newly elected president is walking towards the building security men paving and shouting on top of their voices.. He(president) successfully got to the platform and cleared his throat to speak. "CVP!!" "Progress!!" "CVP!!" "progress!!" "C V P! ! !" "P r o g r e s s ! !" He chanted and the crowd also responded with high spirit. "first and foremost,I want to thank you all for your support before,during and after election.I appreciate it and I will always remember you all for the good times and I will make sure all my promises are fulfilled.Once again I say a big THANK YOU,and I promise you will never regret your actions" he finished his speech and was applauded as the security men did their job in moving him inside the building to meet officially with the other significant members of the party. ******************** 12:15 DP headquarter The atmosphere was a dull one.Sadness were written in bold letters in the faces of those present. "what a waste of time and resources" some of the people complained. The representative of the party walked on to the platform to give the crowd a consoling speech.Since the top officials are in a secret meeting inside the building,Its his responsibility to talk to the party supporters. "DP!!" "the leading party!!" "DP!!" "the leading party!!" "D P!!" "the leading party!!" He shouted to the crowd though most of them answered absentmindedly... "are we truly the leading party?" some of them reasoned "I will like to thank all of the present supporters and guests, we appreciate the support you rendered for the just concluded election.Though we weren't announced as the winner but we will definitely not accept defeat" he paused and then asked "will we?" "NO!!" the crowd answered him with a thunderous voice. "good,and to do this we need you support.We want go to an appeal court and we need your support.Will you support the case?" "YES!!" they answered though some didn't realise what is being asked for them. Black people indeed!! To be continued....

Episode 2 12:30:22 WAT DP headquarters A man is seen walking up to a round table.The round table is occupied by the high officials of the party.He is the same man addressing the crowd some minutes ago,fulfillment written boldly on his face.He occupied the vacant seat beside the party's presidential candidate.He cleared his throat to give the report of the assignment given to him;persuasion!!He was glad he succeeded which was why he came in a fulfilled man. "we have their support" he said to no one in particular and they al applauded him calling him different names and hailing him. "how do we go about it?" he asked when they were through with their rants "nothing much,all we are to do is file an appeal and then delay the swearing in a bit so as to execute our plans" one of the seated men explained.He is the head of the party. ************************* Akinnubi Oluwamuyiwa Mark. A tall and huge man in his mid fifties though his face looks like a person in the age range of 25-30.He is the head and founder of the party.It was said he studied political science in the University of the Coolval and obtained his masters some years after graduating from the university.He loved politics since childhood though his parents were against it which made him run from home at the age of eight.He was later persuaded to come back home some years later when his father promised to sponsor him to the university.He saw this as an opportunity to study hid dream course and he went back home happily.He founded his political party when he was in 200 level in the university and the party has since grown into a worldwide figure thanks to his father's help both financially and socially. ************************ The other seated official seems to be happy with the new advice and they applauded him. "when do we file the appeal?" valentine the presidential candidate asked "lets do it next week." the other members suggested. "I've already filed the appeal all we have to do is wait and see if the court of appeal accept it or not then we can strike" he explained and another round of applause followed. The meeting was rounded up some minutes later when all the members have all agreed on the plan Mark explained and they departed to their various homes after saying 'THE GRACE' in unism. ***************************** 13:00:32 WAT CVP headquarters The celebration continues and food were served to the present supporters both cooked and uncooked.Other items were also distributed and the supporter hailed the new president in appreciation.Since it was the DP that was ruling the republic before the election,their achievement is said to be great. Some people are seen seating across a rectangular table in the main building.Judging by their extravagant dressing,one will conclude that they are rich and one of the head officials. "what do I say?" one of the people seated said.He is seated at the 'center' and all attention were directed to him.A vase containing flowers is placed in front of him and a folder is seen beside the vase.He is the head of the party. ************************** Chief Musa Walter He is a northerner,dark in complexion.His father moved to the capital of the republic when he was two and he had his primary and secondary education there.He isn't opportuned to go to the university cos of the number of children his father had.He is said to be number thirteen on the list of his father's children.He started going out with politicians at the age of fifteen and he was appointed the deputy to the head of the party(CVP) at age twenty-one as a reward for his loyalty.His hunger for power made him kill the head of the party and this made him assume the throne.His restlessness and rough dealings with opposition made people fear him throughout the federation.. *************************** That was all he could say as some supporter invaded the main building and were shouting on top of their voices.The security men wanted to drive them out but chief Musa stopped them.The others looked on in surprise as the supporters danced to the high table. *************************** A Toyota Camry is driven into the compound of a two storey building.The building is painted in white and roofed with white aluminum also.A colourful garden adorned it and a small sized pool is constructed at one side of the building.A man is seen coming down from the car and the gateway rushed to him to take his suitcase in.He is Valentine, frustration and sadness is written on his face.He entered the building and was greeted by his wife. "welcome dear,how was your day?" she greeted and collected his suitcase from the gateman "still the same,no new development" he answered her taking off his clothes. "take care dear,everything will be alright" she assured him "I pray so cos I can't just stand losing the election" He answered her truthfully. She shook her head and looked away. She just hoped there is something she could do to help him!!... To be continued.....

Episode 3 18:49:22 WAT Valentine residence Valentine is seen eating his meal on the dining table.He washing the food but his wife knew he was just doing it to get his mind off the matter at hand.He finished the food within the blink of an eye and immediately headed to his bedroom to rest his weak spines.His wife wanted to rush after him but decided against it when she saw that it will do her more harm than good.She sat back and ate her food silently.She packed the plates when she was through with her meal and headed for the kitchen to drop it.She walked to their bedroom after tidying up all the dishes.Valentine came out of the baaathroom the moment she entered water dropping from his body.He had a towel tied on his waist.He doesn't seem to notice the appearance of his wife cos he went to dry his body and slip in his night wear. He turned back to see his wife,tears are visible on her face and he quickly rushed to where she stood.He held her shoulder comforting her though this made the tears drop rapidly.He cleaned her tears wit the back of his hand and then hugged her tightly letting her cry over his shoulder.He doesn't need a prophet to tell him the cause of her cries cos he also feel like crying but as a man,he didn't. "its alright dear,it will be over soon" he said to her after some minutes of silence "when?when?when?" she repeatedly asked shaking her head "sooner than later,Mark got it all planned out and he promised to do the right thing soon then we will be announced as the rightful winner of the election" he told her and sat her down explaining the plans Mark brought. She smiled when she saw that they have everything in control and concluded that "its just a matter of time before they assume office" ++++++++++++++++++++++++++ 19:00:00 WAT Chief Oluwamuyiwa Mark is seen talking over the phone in his sitting room.The furniture,the interior decoration,electronics and all wares displayed are just the symbols of wealth and class. "the case is now in court......they haven't announced the date.......hopefully they will accept.......your work is simple,lets just pray the appeal is granted......you have to do it.....don't panic,I have everything under control.....just get your boys ready,I will like to cause a chaos tomorrow.......yes at noon.....bye" He said and hung up. A guy dressed as a maid pressed something in his ears "he is causing chaos at noon tomorrow,I don't know the place cos he didn't mention it" he whispered to the invisible device in his ears +++++++++++++++++++++++ 20:17:22 WAT Chief Musa's residence A messenger is seen standing in front of him saying something to his ears,he slammed his fist on the table in front of him in annoyance. "how could he?chaos in the city tomorrow is not what we ant right now,inform the IG immediately" he commended the messenger and resumed what he was doing before the invasion;watching the national news. Someone is seen walking out of the building,descending the stair "I think there is a spy with the head cos they have heard about the chaos causing plate,its time to be more secretive and its also time to test the loyalty of the servants" he whispered to the earpiece +++++++++++++++++++++++++ to be continued.......

Episode 4 The IG's residence He is seen eating his food when suddenly his phone beeped.He checked the caller but its an unknown number.He picked it after some seconds. "who is this?.....a message from Chief Musa?.....chaos?.....don't worry I will get it covered and tell him I assure him that nothing is going to happen....okay,I will contact my boys and we will get ready for them....Extend my greetings to Chief Musa,bye" He ended the call. He dialed a number on his mobile immediately "hello,come over to my house right now.....you have just fifteen minutes,don't keep me waiting..." he ended the call without waiting for the response of the person he was talking to.He resumed his position and started eating the remaining food in his plate. +++++++ A man is seen sitting on a couch in a not-so-decorated sitting room.The room is painted pink and purple,apart from the furniture,a plasma tv hung on one side of the room and electronic appliances are displayed directly underneath.He dropped his phone and stood up.He was murmuring as he headed to the exit of the house. "what does this man want at this odd hour?can't he say it on phone?" He asked himself.He entered his car and zoomed off having one place in mind...the IG's house.... ++++++++ The IG is through with his food and is seen relaxing in his sitting room watching his favourite program:the news.A man entered the room without knocking,he saluted the IG immediately he entered.He(IG) directed his gaze towards the man who just entered and pointed to the seat opposite him motioning him to sit down. "Inspector Japhola,I called you here to inform you of the crime I heard will some people want to commit tomorrow and I will want you to intercede and stop them." he said going straight to the point.Inspector Japhola wanted to ask question like who are the people?when will they attack?where? But he knew the IG to be a strict person that doesn't like too much question. "the attack is said to be at noon tomorrow but no one knows where" the IG continued when he saw the question displayed on the Inspector's face.Japhola nodded and and announce his departure. +++++++ A man is seen working on the computer which stood directly in front of him.He look disturbed some seconds after receiving a message. "a spy in here?unbelievable,but how can he/she be discovered,that's a new task that can't be left undone" he said to himself and then sent the same report to his boss. He received a call from his boss some minutes later and picked it after the first ring. "yes sir,a spy is here with us and from what I hear he is so close to you to have heard your conversation.....yes sir.....yes sir.....and I think we must deal with the traitor so as to avoid what just happened......okay sir...." +++++++ Chief Oluwamuyiwa is seen reading the newspaper when his phone beeped,he checked the screen and its from his computer specialist,he read the message repeatedly about five times before calling the sender.... "you mean there is a spy in here?......then we have to track him.....and we must do it very fast....absolutely,get ready for action" He said into the mobile and hung up after the last speech. A maid went over to the kitchen wearing a worried face,he pressed a button in his hand and talked to the device "someone is spying on you over there and Chief is also aware of the presence of a spy here,I think I will have to move out soon" he said and moved the device away from his mouth putting it in his pocket.He turned back to see his employer "I caught you traitor,no way out now" Chief Mark barked and slapped him hard across the face which made him stagger backwards. ++++++++ To be continued....... ++++++

Episode 4b The slap made his cheek red and before he knew it,another hotter slap landed on the same cheek and then he fell down, "guards!!take him to the guest house" Chief Mark ordered the men who walked behind him.They hurriedly did as he commanded and went out with the traitor.He brought out his phone and typed a message: "I found who the spy is,go on with the previous assignment" and sent it.He smiled and went back to the sitting room to continue his newspaper reading +++++++++ Some guys are seen packing different kinds of weapons into a bag.One of the guys stood some feet from them and directing them on what to do next.He is said to be their leading named Trouble.They were through with the packing after sometimes and they all entered into an eighteen-passenger bus and drove off.They stopped after driving for about fifteen minutes and then Trouble called his instructor "hello oga,.....we dey crescent street......we dey wait oh......make i start trouble now now,oga no talk much I don start....." he concerned with the person he called and after ending the call, signalled to his gangs to come down from the car and start their mission. ++++++++ IG's office He sat down writing something in a file and going through another file.His phone beeped and he picked it when he realise that the caller is Inspector Japhola. "Inspector,what's going on?.....okay good....make sure nothing happens.....call me if you need anything" he hung up the call after the last alphabet. +++++++ Inspector Japhola is seen walking around and talking over the phone barking and commanding the other cops. "which street hasn't been guarded?" he asked one of the junior officer "all sir except crescent street" he replied "and you said all,nonsense!!take some of the officers over there and get the street guarded" he commanded pointing to some cops standing in attention some meters away. ++++++ Trouble and his gang's mission was successful as they killed numerous citizen and set some houses on fire.They took the escape route when the cops emerge shooting sporadically at them and they ended up killing a cop and injuring five others. +++++++ "a problem?....crescent street?....I'm on my way" Inspector Japhola said over the phone hurrying to his car. ++++++ People were already gathered looking at what just happened,some were telling different stories while some were staring and listening to the fake stories others have to tell. "make way!!make way!!Am a cop" Inspector Japhola said as he paved way through the crowd flashing his ID card. "how did this happen?" he asked the cop who called him "I don't know sir,we got here and saw some guys escaping.People said they were the one who killed those people and we wanted to chase them but they had high-tech weapons with them and shot us,I'm the only officer that wasn't injured" He narrated to his senior. "call an ambulance and get this place cleaned" he said though he knew what awaits him afterwards:criticism!!.He thought he got everything covered but how wrong he was.... +++++++ They news flew like bullet and was soon on every lips of everyone alive in the capital. The news reached the IG and he immediately called Japhola expressing his disappointment and telling him what awaits him after everything, "consider your career terminated Inspector" he told him sincerely after sometimes of argument. Inspector Japhola pleaded and cried to the IG but he wasn't moved. ++++++ chief Musa's residence He is seen addressing some guys in one of the numerous rooms in his house.He heard the news some minutes ago and knew who was behind it all. "we have to strike back,but this time,we aren't taking out innocent souls but the souls of the people involved,understood?" he lecture the huge men in front of him "yes sir" they chorused "we move during weekend,I will personally lead the team" he said and walked out of the room. ++++++ Chief Mark's residence He also heard the news report and seems happy about it.He smiled to himself and said "now Musa will want to strike back,then I will do what I like most" he said and laughed loudly to the surprise of his guards since he doesn't laugh frequently. ++++++++ Valentine's residence He was with his wife when the news report were read to their ears by the newscaster and they both stare at each other shocked "do you think this is the right thing to do?" she asked him when she finally got her voice "lets just hope so,I think Mark got everything under control" He assured his wife who smiled in return ++++++++ to be continued.......

Valentine's residence He knew she wasn't convinced with what she heard from him but he had no option.He knew no reason why citizen must be tormented and even killed just to prove a point to their political opponents.But he had no choice but to follow his superior's lead and hope for the best.He smiled to himself when he remembered how Chief Mark supported him during primary election that made him the presidential candidate.He concluded in his mind that he have to trust Chief Mark since he is the only one who seem to like him wholeheartedly amongst the party officials. The IG's office The IG is seen walking up and down in his office,everywhere looked untidy.Anger is boldly written on his face,he took his phone and called Inspector Japhola informing him(Japhola) to come over to his office. Chief Musa's sitting room Chief Musa is seen drinking a red liquid from a glass cup he was holding,he looked calm but he was furious inside cos of what his opposition did earlier in the day.He wanted to smash the cup but thought against it and gently dropped the cup.He stood up and headed for his training room which was some meters away from the main building. the IG's office Inspector Japhola entered the IG's office after dropping the call and what he saw confirmed his fears.He went on his knees immediately and started begging the IG. "Please,for God sake don't do this to me,I have a family,my mother is old and I 'm the one responsible for her welbeing,I have no other source of income other than thus job,please reconsider your judgement and I promise to detect and arrest all the people involved in this incident sire,please I do beg of you." he begged trying not to cry Though his eyes were red and swollen. The IG was moved with pity and he shook his head. "Its a signal" Delight announced punching the laptop keys at a fast rate.An Icon popped up at the left corner of the screen. "Nothing more,Nothing less" He said to himself aloud that his wife rushed down to the sitting room to know what the problem was.She went back when she realised that it was the same thing;her husband's lost position.How fulfilled will she be if she were to be the first lady of the republic,but then there was nothing she could do about it. "wow!" she heard a joyful shout from the sitting room once again and knew it was her husband since their children were studying abroad.She rushed back to meet her husband.She wondered how man could change within the blink of an eye.Isn't this the valentine that looked sad some moments ago?she ran to where he stood to know what the matter was.... ++++ Mark's Residence He is taking his dinner when his wife told him that the evening news was now on.He left his food and went to the sitting room to nw what and what is to be revealed by the newscaster.He wanted to know the outcome and result of his recent doings but then what he met on the screen was another thing entirely,he looked at the screen repeatedly not sure of what he was seeing and hearing.... ++++ Musa's Residence He is seen waiting for the commencement of the evening news.He looked happy after the progress he made in having his men ready to attack his opposition.The screen changed to show a lady who later introduced herself to be the newscaster for the night.He(Musa) shifted uneasily on the couch when the first headline was read and he eagerly waited for the details.He hoped for the upteenth time that the news was fake cos if it turned out to be true,then a bloody battle awaits him..... "It do affect us greatly,do you think we were the rightful winners of the election?we definitely aren't but we won courtesy of some works and other things.Don't be too foolish to realise all I'm telling you but the appeal is a thing we have to avoid no matter the cost,we have to let the case die down or else,or else,or else" Musa said over the phone "what do you suggest we do?" "who could have done this?" he said to himself and the idea struck him "Musa" he said loudly "no one is brave enough to order this but him,and I promise him,he will not go unpunished on this" he said angrily hitting the wall with his fist.A call came in from Valentine and he knew at once that He wasn't the one the gunshot he heard some minutes ago affected "Valentine?" "president,I'm here" "Thank God" he said.People can be religious sometimes in difficult,life-threatening and bloody situation "but president,who could have done this?"
