Episode 2. : Lucas Pov What will thou do without your smile. . . I sang along to the music coming from my phone, a song by "John Legend" (All of me). It was a Saturday morning, since it was a day off work for me, I waked up late that morning, that was because I don't gave any plans to go out, I knew after sometimes I will call the woman that do help me to wash some of my clothes, so I got no work to do, that morning I have dial a call it was a friend who we both decided to hangout together later in the day off. It been a while i go out to clubs, I'm not so fancy of clubs but whenever I'm bored, sometimes I go there to relax my head, I work with a company who extract golds in San Francisco, my dad own the company , since I finished my Masters, I have been the manager of the company. Dad has made everything easier for me, I knew I came from a wealthy background but one thing I got as a problem is the fact that i don't have a stable girlfriend, when I see them I see and later after we had something in common they don't seems to be important to me, this has been happening to me for so long, anyway it's not a problem in other side because i am rich enough to capture any girls mind. Episode 3 : Lucas Pov Oh!! I groaned as the alarm from my room waked me up, someone could hear the sound from heaven, what the fuck, i stood up to shut it off it it was Sunday morning , I must have got home lately yesterday, yesterday fun was one of the best again, I remember the girl, the slot I said to myself, well she's a slot she beg me to stop but hell I gave her the f**k of her life , Anyway I don't have any problem with her I paid her of with the sum $1000. Then I remembered that something happened again, Where is my chain, I looked at the glass to check oh that slot has gone away with my Gold chain. What the fuck, I don't know her neither do i have her contact, she's just as one of those streets girls you can catch up with quickie. Where can I find her, oh I groaned again, the chain isn't for I collect it from Mom she never wanted to let me have it, but I won't listen, so how do i explain this to her. I took my car key as I drive straight to the club. Everywhere was silent one could hear only the sound of water, some guys are at the pool side, I didn't bother to look at them, the manager I said after a guy who should probably must have recognize me said hello sir. I went through his description, the manager came and we sat for some time before she told me the girl don't come here always, she use to come once in a six months, what the hell is wrong with me, I knew how important is the chain, I knew Mom won't be happy, I don't even know what to tell her, should I say a slot took it, how? I was out of thought. Linda Pov After I discovered that Mom has done all necessary work I needed to do, I went to the kitchen to prepare for the breakfast, while mom was home inside the parlor watching TV, I looked at her from one corner of the kitchen before i smiled, I knew if i don't quickly go to the kitchen, she will still want to do it. Smiled such a blessed mother I got, sometimes when i get to think about her, I just laughed, she has been my joy, she gave me joy even though we're not rich, I still love her so much, I continue washing. It got to a point when the door sound, someone is at the door, I left what i was doing to go open up, who's that I said. It's me Caro, oh Anty Caro I hugged her as I opened the door, it been a while you came to visit us, I hope this time that you come hope it's fine, she looked at me jokingly before we both laughed, the last time she came was when she was accused of stealing someone's money. Anty Caro was also a daughter to our family friend, we have known her for a while now, but one disgusting thing about her is her charlot attitude. Episode 4 : Caro Pov After I took the chain last night, I went to Mama Linda's house, it be while I went there, I knew that stubborn girl will still start to talk rubbish because I knew when she was born maybe her mom didn't remember to mud her mouth everywhere I said jokingly, it was Sunday morning, at first I wanted to go sell the chain and maybe later buy myself some goodies of this world, but when I got to Mama Linda's house that girl Linda I knew she will still ask me whay I brought so I change my mind and went with the chain to their house, after the greetings, just as expected she asked me what I bought for them, I first thought of selling but later igave her the chain I knew how risky it's but one thing I'm sure of is that Linda don't go to clubs so there's no way Lucy's or what's name would have get to meet her. So I dropped the chain while i left later in that day. Lucas Pov I have been avoiding my Mom since that day, I don't know what to tell her, I have ordered for so many Gold chain but none was like it, the chain is a raw pure Gold, I knew it's going to be very difficult for me to get exactly like it, that girl if I catch her, she will surely pay for her wrong i said as i groan again, days went over days the girl was no where to be found neither any hope for the chain, I went to the clubs regularly every evening since the incident, Mom has called me to see her due to my manners of avoiding her, I think she noticed, so she called to see me, that was when i now realized that I have gotten into trouble. How can't i not face my own mother all because of one day pleasure, why did I even go to club that day, I kept asking myself series of questions. ............ Life has been as usual, a week after Anty Caro visit I wasn't interested in the chain or neither am i going to wear it, but mom kept forcing me to wear it, what if she went ahead to steal it, or what if i got embarrassed for what I know nothing about, but mom told me everything happened for a reason either good or bad. Some weeks later, I got an information from the news that one of the big Gold company in San Francisco is recruiting for two candidates and we're told to send their CV forward to their mail and make sure they're ready for an interview. Really, I was home when i got the news, I took my phone while i send my credentials, to the main and some necessary documents reuested for, after a week, I was fixed an appointment with this time it's coming the management which says "You're hereby shortlist to our interview stage, please come with your original copy of your credentials. Thanks " It was a good news to everyone that got messages like this, but not for me, I have gone to series of interviews and nothing still happened. I got to the company earlier before the meetkeng time , we're up to six in numbers that came for the interview, and they only needed two candidates . We're called one after other. Episode 5 : Lucas Pov We had to put on two candidates due to some old workers that got retired, that very day was in my office conducting interviews to the candidates that were shortlisted . I have attended to four person the fifth person was a woman, a lady of her 24years she looks beautiful but hell that's not what I'm here for, Hello I'm Linda Hagreve she said okay. Where are you credentials I asked her, but I was kind of surprised how can you forget your credentials downstairs, Ladies ehn, I just laughed as she ask me permission to go get it, and myself I don't even know when i told her to go. Seriously I was bored the chain has really got me mad, Mom later called me and I have to lied to her that a friend took it with him and traveled with it, I even lied that it was one Africa country, but hell mom told me she will send him another ticket and pay for his flight that I should justbmake sure the chain must be here before the coming weekend, that's all that have been running through my mind, I don't even know when she came back. For the male we got five male while she Linda Hagreve is the only female. Well just like Dad order me I sent the selected names and they were approved. Linda Pov I was home watching news while Mom is doing her favorites in the kitchen, I have told her several times to leave but she won't stop what she's doing. it later came shown on the screen that the company which i was interviewed as selected their two favorites candidates, to hold and behold I almost go crazy when I saw my picture and a guy of his 29th. Mom i screamed!!!!!!!!!!! She ran from the kitchen what's that, she was over excited after she read what was shown on the screen. I jumped up and hugged her, we have made it last. She was happy too, seriously that was the first time I saw mom with that kind of happiness, we sang and sang and sang, I danced to every beat that comes out of my mouth. Wow I made it through out that day one could tell how excited i was later some text into my phone this time it's a congratulations message from the Gold company, can't imagine myself that i will work for a Gold company here in San Francisco I just wish this for everyone reading this. What you seems to be expecting that you have almost giving up, will become yours in Jesus name . .............. Come forth was the monday morning we were told to resumed work on, that morning I have waked up earlier do some necessary stuff like the house work before taken my bath, I finished earlier than it was expected, I was about going when mom called me back, you know this is a Gold company, so you need to always look good my dear, better still why not put on your chain, the gift from Caro. firstly i don't feel like wearing, but I later now considered that it's also a Gold company, it will just look perfect in the sight of everyone I thought in my mind. I went inside to get it but when I got there, it was no where to found., I checked and checked around, I still couldn't found it, but since I was about getting late I left it while I move towards direction of the company. It was great to be here, I breath out as I entered the gate, the security man have been so nice to me, I went to the receptionist where I was told to hold on that my work description will be taken by me and I will know my duties for the company. By then the guy that was picked together with me was also around, so we both sat down for some minutes before we were called to a hall where the Chairman, boards and some important staff were present .A woman of her 50th was the first person to welcome us as he address us, then after was the guy that interviewed, he told us how the company runs and encourage us to be work and doing, but one thing have noticed about him, he has been staring at me since my arrival to the hall , firstly I thought maybe I didn't look like I was expected to dress, but throughout his words of encouragement, he couldn't even stop staring his eyes away from me. : : Hey guys, what do you think about this ?

Episode 6 : Lucas Pov After the new workers were told to resumed the following Monday, I was at my office when they told me of their arrival, since we need proper introduction from them and we need to let them know what the company do to survive, how the work is been run and some necessary things they needed to know, we were at the hall waiting for the new workers arrivals, some minutes later I saw her again, Linda I remembered this time she was so cute, beautiful and well dressed, her beauty has caught me nut, I just couldn't believe i couldn't take off my eyes from her, as the manager of the company, I was told to give a pies of encouragement which i did, I told them how the company runs to survive, what they needed to know and why they need to be work and doing, but throughout my words with them, I was staring at her obviously I think she noticed, but she must have gotten it wrong on her mind maybe, the truth is that i like her but I don't admit it, I just believe she's also one of those streets girls I have always screwed maybe. the meeting went well . After which she was assigned to be the secretary, while the other to be the head of marketing. ............. Later that day I went home, I got home around the evening time 4:30pm to be prescribed. I freshen up just like usual, I took my lunch. Some minutes later i felt i should relax myself but one could see it all over me, the chain, I'm still so much worried about the chain, how do i tell Mom after all that I lost it, I already told her that a friend took it with him, and she's expecting it this week, I looked at the time on the wall clock it's 7:30pm. That night wasn't fun I just forced myself to sleep. Linda Pov : I left the place around after 5 pm in the evening, one could see the excitement in me, I couldn't hide, at last I'm proud of what i do, not just an ordinary work but a Gold company, laughed as i open the door, Mom your daughter is back, I screamed as i entered, I look the room but she was no where to be found, maybe she has gone as usual to do her favorite, the stream! to fresh some water. I smiled, well Mom has always been like that, she loves what she does especially when it comes to house work, I was still at my own thoughts when she came in, just like I have guessed, she was carrying a bucket . But mom i looked at her with my face up, I think we discussed about you not doing this again, she smiled before she replied, how's work. Mom i laughed as i collected the bucket from her, well It was great, I'm glad to tell that this is the secretary of the same Gold company you saw on the news last week , she smiled but this time water was coming from her eyes, I knew she was just happy for me, at least we can both live a better life. We gisted for a while before I went to sleep that night, I told her about the security that welcomed me so nicely, I told him about a woman that firstly address us and what we're expecting before the other guy that interviewed us comes up with his own advice, everywhere was cool I concluded. ................. Later that evening I called a friend we gisted a lot he has been a friend from my secondary school time, we do things in common, like sharing of notes, reading together and all. .Episode 7 : Aunty Caro Pov The news got to me, about the chain, I later got to know that the chain wasn't for him, but who cares, at least we had fun and this is my way of getting what's necessary for me. After which I dashed out the chain, that very night after I left Mama Linda's house i came across a man of his 60th years maybe who promised to take good care of me, as usual i went with him, according to him, he told me that he was the owner of a Gold company here in San Francisco. Really I couldn't believe that i could jam such a richie, that night we had fun together before he took me out of the state later in the following morning. through our conversation, one could see how riches he was, he told me his son is the one running the company as a manager, he told me about his wife as well, but hell those things isn't my problem, all I want is to get the fucking money from him and just run away from him. That night I satisfy him we had lots of f**k. But hell I'm just in for his money. I planned on how to get rid of him, I have been asking him series of questions about his bank details and some other necessary questions. After i ate my dinner that night, I thought of going to relax, tomorrow is another working day, as a secretary I knew much is expected from me. I went to the direction of my room. I was still on my bed when memories of the day came to me, I remembered how I took the taxi to the company and everything we did in the office. Then his picture came to me, The Manager, what's wrong with him, why is he always look at me so weird, I have been noticing him for sometime now since i started working, but he will never say anything, at least if he tells me what's wrong then i can know what to do, maybe my clothes doesn't worth wearing to the company or maybe i was getting things wrong. .Episode 8 : Lucas Pov It was another work day, thursday to be prescribed. Asusual i was putting on my Blue shirt with jeans, since it's normal thing for me to put on polo every thursday, I drove to the direction that leads to company, it got me up to 35mins to get there, as usual everyone were already present waiting for me. Good morning, I heard various voices greeting as i entered into the reception , good morning to you all I said as I walked pass them, I went to my office, a nice place looking well cleaned, one could see a Laptop and some files on the table, then I remembered that there are some files that I didn't work on yesterday due to some reasons known to me. I was still templating within myself when she came in, Linda I said as i saw her coming in, she looks beautiful with her black gown , one could see her baby face that makes her look more beautiful, she replied good morning sir. Yes I'm sure I replied, before he later told me to meet him downstair where we later went to one of his favorites shopping mall. We got there so quickly maybe because there's no traffic. I sat at a chair opposite to him, we talked there he told me little about his childhood, I was so surprised that he was passing through some stuff that he couldn't even share with anyone, but why me i asked him, he looked at me for a while before he stood up, guess we should leave now he said. Hope it's fine, i said thereafter, yeah he managed to reply i could see it all over his face, I knew what he's passing through is more than him. I'm sorry i said as i leave the mall, I waited for him in the car for some minutes before he came to join me, I'm sorry he said as he opened the door. It okay sir, I'm sorry to must have ask you about your past. It okay Linda I'm fine. We drive back to the company. At least we had a nice time together but I felt sorry for him, why is he going through this, why can't him find his own parents, I felt sorry we all believe that Mrs Enderson was his biological mother while Mr Ederson who we all believe is presently down in Russia for a Business tour was his father. Gosh i felt sorry. ................... After i left work, later that evening i was home and seen in the kitchen with mom, mom as been in the kitchen before my arrival and she has taken charge of the food we are planning for the dinner already, I came later that evening to join her, since she won't leave, we both stayed there together as we kept making the food, we later gist about the day, I told her about the manager I told her what he'sbpassing through and how life must have been so hurting him. Firstly Mom felt pity for him but he just believe he will be fine, I haven't gone through that but I knew the joy I got from seeing my Mom, my family and all, I Judd love my family. For him to have live without knowing his biological parents really makes me feel bad, he have been staying with an unknown parents who claimed to be his parents, how will he find his parents. .Episode 9 : Lucas Pov. Just like I have planned it with Micheal after i told him about her the secretary. He told me to get a time together and maybe then we can get along. we went to a nearby place, one of my favorite I told her, we got there not a quiet time. After some silent, I started with a topic, so how is your family and all she replied me, mom is fine, I was kind of surprised. How about your Dad . He died some years back. I felt for her, I knew how it feels, I just don't want to go back to my past it's really a sad story to tell, ........................ The Past I was 4years old and i could remembered everything clearly. I have known Dad to be a business man who believes in what he does, he was a contractor and he has gotten lots of workers. I knew he has a friend then who will come to our house once in a while sometimes for business while others for greetings. This particular day, I was in the room with mom while we heard a voice one could see the argument. I was young but I could remembered that mom took me upstairs just in case I don't get to know what happened while she left to see what's going on. Truly I don't know what happened but after some hight argument between dad and his so called friends, I heard Dad warn him to send his share or else he's going to show him hell. Since I couldn't go out to see the situation but I knew I can always find a means .or should I say I don't know what i was doing then. I went to the side widow of the room where Mom left me, there i saw him Mr Williams. Why is he here to fright Dad, I have known him to be a very good friend of Dad, sometimes he will buy me some kiddies, I juts love him then, but why is Dad mad at him. Anyway since I really don't know what happened, I went back to the door, this time i was crying I just want to see Mom, some later, Mom came inside she was kind of frighten, Mom why is Mr Williams and Dad shouting at each other, she was mute at first but thank God she later told me that Dad had a business with him which came with a huge profit of money , but he refused to give Dad his share and things have been going out of hands. Really I said, why is he doing that to Dad, that's human my dear, Mom replied, when it comes to money people changes. That was how I got to known that money changes human. Some days after the day of the arguments that evening Dad came back from work and he was actually telling Mom about him again, Mr Williams. Mr Williams have been threatening him to stop asking for the money or else he will deal with him, but Dad has been a man of principle, Mom tried confusing him to at least take it easy but come to think of it, Dad spent million of dollars for the business to have succeed how can he give up all because of a threatening from one Mr Williams. Just take it easy honey i knew it's not advisable to leave the money but I'm just scared, Mom said. Episode 11 : Lucas Pov . The drama got finished after the guy she introduced to be her friend came to call her, since it was her friend, she went with him while myself and Henry continue having fun. It's was very clearing to her that it was the food that i gave her that killed Harmony, she came to meet me but i lied, she was the only one that knew that i killed him. Episode 24 : Linda Pov I woke up late that morning, I searched around but Lucas has left for work. I remembered that i waited all night for him yesterday before i slept off but he didn't show up, guess he must have been busy for a while that night and since i don't plan to disturb him, reasons why i didn't bother to meet him yesterday night. I checked around the house but he was no where to be found. I picked my phone to call at least even if not for anything, he should have say hi before leaving that morning. I dial his number, it rang severally but he didn't pick up. Later that morning, I went to the kitchen after i have taken my bath, since its not new to me, I cooked some rice cake for myself while i left some for him maybe when he's back in the evening. Episode 25 : Linda Pov I woke up the following morning, then i remembered that he didn't came home yesterday night, I quickly grab my clothes as i went to his room at least to check if he later came home after i slept off, and if he comes back yesterday, I expected more explanation from him, if not for any reason, at least I'm his girlfriend. I knocked at the door severally but no body was responding, after so many trier, I decided to open the door myself, I opened but he wasn't there, I checked the bathroom to see maybe he went to the bathroom, but everywhere seems silent and cool, he didn't come back here yesterday, this time i was more worried about him, something is wrong with him i said, I need to go find out, Lucas will never ignore my call if he knew that i called in. I left the house around 7am that morning, There are lots of cars in the compound, but i can't drive, so i need to get a taxi. I went to the street to look for one, firstly i really don't know what to do, i knew if i go to where he works it might look awkward, but then i got to consider that he went for work yesterday, please drive on, I said to the taxi man who seems to be listening to a music while putting on a earpod . After series of turning from the estate we got to his office, I paid the taxi man as he drove on. Episode 26 : Lucas Pov The night i got home with Tina was really dramatic. I parked at the corner of the house. Episode 30 : Linda Pov I couldn't sleep that night after they went to Mr Williams house, what if they got caught, this is all that was pondering on my head throughout the night. Episode 31 : Mr Williams Pov. After they parked her body away. I was still watching the video camera, I forwarded it to the night time to see if i can get any information, then I saw it. Three guys came inside my compound, seriously watching from the camera, one of the guys really looks like lucas but I'm not sure because it's dark and the Mask they were putting on couldn't make me identify the person clearly, they came inside as they all walked inside the sitting room. Episode 32 : Lucas Pov Before 6:00am in the following morning, we're both set for the operation. Linda was still sleeping while Andrew was told to stay with her till we get back. After series of dragging, they brought her to where i was standing, I looked at her in a sign that means run to the car after the count of three while she nodded. I was about counting the last number when I noticed the guy hidden around the bush, "Gboaahhhhhhh" I guess he must have timed wrong, because I'm yet to give out the document with me, I quickly rushed to cover the woman who was also by then running to the car, then the gun got me on my arm.. Thank goodness Lucas was fast enough to have opened the door, we quickly drive as first as we can, then they came following us I tried shooting but they followed us with full forced in other to got us down, they kept shooting while i managed to defend and shoot too, this time all the glasses covering the car were broken down, the gun kept coming over and over again, I was shooting but the speed was too much and due to the injury on my arms, I couldn't hold the gun very well, blood keep coming out from the injury, they kept shooting while Lucas was seriously driving at least to get out of this fucking grave yard call estate. This time one of the bullet got the side mirror glass down, one of them must have been targeting Lucas since they know he's the one driving . Thank goodness i was able to noticed him in time, I aim the gun at him whom later dropped from the bus. But the remaining guys still continue shooting at me while Lucas kept on driving, this time I was tired the injury i got couldn't allowed me, I just covered my self from the gun while Lucas kept speeding up. The shooting and killing last for over 35mins before i noticed that they have went back from following us. I checked to look if they are still following then i saw them from afar, guess someone must have oreded them to stop or they couldn't pass the boundary of that estate. Thank goodness we made it pass the estate, this time I was really weak and tired the injury was worrying me, blood was all over my body, i wasn't my self again, after some minutes driving Lucas stop the car, Henry he called, I managed to answer just to confirm that everything is fine, then we saw Linda's mom lifeless, Lucas was the first time see her, hello ma he called severally before we later noticed that one of the bullet had meet her in her chest. WTF!!!! I screamed, Lucas couldn't stop crying, I was really sad to see her dead. I wasn't happy about it, the only hope we got was her, but thank goodness that the document is still here with me, Lucas was surprised. Then you killed her Lucas screamed at me, why don't you drop it and let them go he shouted. Lucas it's not what you think, I was about explaining when he shorn me again. Episode 33 : Linda Pov. I was home at least expecting my mom since they have agreed to let her go while Lucas is Gonna drop the document, they left earlier that morning while i and Andrew was home, I couldn't say what exactly i was doing during that time, but I didn't stop praying that God should bring them here safely, though I never expected anything bad, but i know the woman can be unpredictable, what if she changes her mind after getting the document , this was all that was coming to my head, I kept praying for their safety, I don't want to see anyone hurt, not even Lucas or Henry they were only risking their lives for my family, my mom, I have missed her so much, I can't wait to see her again after all this, she got nothing to do about it right from the start till now, she has been a wonderful woman to me, I will forever love her I said. Episode 34 : Lucas Pov I noticed Linda, she have been feeling sick ever since we told her about her Mom's death. So that morning i took her to the hospital, since Henry injuries is yet to go, we all drove to the hospital. Firstly my intention was to kill her, she deserves to die, but the plan was for the party , after she might have loses her guard, but this is another opportunity for me, I opened the car as i took a knife which i hide at one corner of my hand. I walked down to where their car was, their car was about five cars ahead of me, it got me little mins before I got to her. Immediately i got close to her, before she could looked on me, I quickly rushed as i took the knife on my hand, it got her in her neck. I was about running to the river that was down the bridge when series of bullets got me down, I couldn't make it, then I lost it. I'm happy anyway, atleast I got her in her neck, it really gonna need an angel to treat her not even where i stab her, before she can be rushed to the nearest hospital, she will be dead by then. Episode 35 : Linda Pov After we got back from the hospital. After about two and half hours from our arrival, I noticed that Andrew haven't been home, so i manage to ask Lucas who have been sitting here beside me since our arrival, he told me he went to see his parent which I believed, it's very important to be with one family, I knew what it means, My family, then i remembered that sudden day aunty Caro came to visit us that day, I shouldn't have collected the chain from the start, she caused it, she shouldn't have allowed me to collect the chain. I cried again. my mom, she was my last hope, I can't believe that I'm not going to see her again, I really couldn't stop crying, but Henry have been so close to me to stop me from not crying again. ANDREW PEIRERA . *Present* I couldn't believe it, it's really Andrew but he never said he's going to meet her, yeah i understand that fact that the woman is wicked and she deserves to die, but i don't want anyone to get hurt again not even Andrew, I couldn't stop crying that evening. We have lost him I said to Lucas who Linda was sleeping on his laps, they were surprised to hear me, I saw Linda's stood up, now sitting rightly. We have lost him, Andrew Peirera. Who's that? Lucas Pov : After we saw the news on the TV station, seriously i don't know what to feel, but i can tell you that it's positive. She deserves to die, she killed Linda's Mom all because of her stupid interest. But i don't know why no station was showing the guy that killed her and why he did that, the report said he stabbed her in the neck which make her die immediately but why and who sent him this was all that was coming to my head, after some minutes watching, Henry change the channel which made everyone went back to their room that evening. though we couldn't identify the criminal that killed her, they didn't bother to show us. But i think I saw a name Andrew Peirera, but since I'm not sure Andrew is Peirera I went to my room while Linda followed, at lest everything seems good now, it's a relief that Linda is pregnant for me, now hearing this news about the death of William make me plan to move to Australia with Linda where we planned to settled. I don't want to have any issues with anyone here in San Francisco.. After about an hour, Henry rushed to the room I was staying with Linda, it a sad news when he told us that Andrew was the same Peirera . Final Episode. : Lucas Pov After the incident, Mr Williams lawyer called me to discuss about his properties with me, but then he told me that he got a company in Denmark too. I showed him the document i got from late Mr Williams that night he met his death. He confirmed it before he withdraw the Gold company to me, yeah it was a great believe, and since he never knew about my biology, he believes that I'm his biological son, so his Mansion house was withdrawn to me as well, now i think I have it all, this is what my father would have given me if he didn't kill him that night i said. I left the place around 4pm in the evening, after some minutes driving i got home, this time I and Linda has moved from Henry department to my own house since we heard the news about Mrs Williams death. I got home to see Linda who was busy in the kitchen , Hello love i called before he came to attend to me, we kissed for a while before she discharge me from going further, smile don't mind me, this is what I'm good at doing. We sat on the chair as i explained everything that happened while i meet with the lawyer, he was happy to hear this, at least this is your right she said. But then she continues, I don't think we still need to stay here in San Francisco, why not let relocate she said. Firstly i didn't think it's necessary, but then i have to reason with her. where do you want I asked, why not let move to Switzerland she said, I saw her raise one eye up. Why Switzerland I said, I think we can start afresh she concluded. Anyway since this is what she want and i also have to think about the fact that we both lost our parents here in San Francisco. It okay we shall be leaving next weekend i said, I saw her feel relief, guess she's happy to hear that. ............................................................. *Nine Months later* Push,push this was all i was hearing as Linda was now in the labour room. I have rushed her down earlier that morning when she started feeling pain all over her body, we got to the hospital earlier that morning, I did the necessary things i need to do before she was later transferred to the labour room, after waiting for about one hours, the doctor came out of the room to meet me, Congratulations sir, your wife just gave birth to a baby girl he said, really I screamed. Thank you very much sir I'm very happy to hear this. It was a good news for me and my wife, seriously now i understand what it takes to have a good home, I love my family and I'm happy, though since our relocation to Switzerland, we have only got few friends, some of them came to congratulate us while we share the memories together. ................................................................. Aunty Caro Pov. After i got back to San Francisco that evening, I decided to go check Linda and her Mom since i believe they're the remaining family i got in San Francisco after the death of my parents . Firstly i was surprised to see the house close down, where's Linda mom, but since I'm not sure, i went ahead to go ask a neighbor, a lady of her 30th was seen besides the building close the house, i went to meet her at least to know about there whereabouts but what i heard from her really made me burst into tears. She's dead she said. I couldn't stop crying. I have known her to be a perfect and hardworking person, she has never been seen causing commotion around the streets. This was all that was coming to my head, how about Linda i managed to ask, she told me she came with a guy some months back and since then the house have been locked down. I ask for her number but guess she didn't have it. That evening was really a sad one for me. I got home that evening thinking about her death and Linda herself, I don't know any of their families, but then i remembered when i gave her the chain, I think i later heard about the Gold company she worked with. The following morning I went to the company there I was told about everything from the beginning to the end, all that the chain has caused her family and how Linda's mom was abducted and how she got killed due to the incident. Seriously i felt like killing myself, so it means the single mistakes i made that night could end up taken away lives. I cried sorrowful, I shouldn't have went away with the chain, why am i even sleeping with different mens, I cried bitterly. I'm sorry for everything, I knew i worth nothing and my repentance now couldn't wake the dead, but i promise not to go out with different men's again, I promise to be myself, I promise not to steal people's properties before i could finish saying I weep bitterly. I hope i can be forgiven, I hope Linda can see me and forgive me, I knew everything has spoilt including the joy and happiness home Linda and her mom got. I'm sorry Linda! THE END.
