[b]Episode 2c i stood there and wondered about mr smith. Perhaps he was really having a brain trauma or what? I could vividly recall the day mr smith was given four baskets of punkins and the hungry slaves have stole a basket, mr smith bluntly told mr clifford that it was three basket the he was given not four. I can still recall his closeness with the slaves through food generosity . Was something really wrong with his brain or was he pretending or having some kind of sympathy for the black slaves? I kept on poundering on this matter for a very long time and finally gave up thinking , shrugging , i spoke aloud "only time will tell" . . . Tbc[/b] . . . EPISODE 3 {full episode} The next day, i was fortunate to see mr smith at the door step of mr cliff's house, it seems he was leaving so i took my chance "hello and good day mr smith" i greeted him bluntly, even though i lone that i will recieve a whip for intruding his privacy , i was determined to do this to test him about his brain "how are you doing today?" he reply pronouncing the you as yoo "am doing bad sir" "whats wrong with you my boy" "am hungry" "really?" he ask with concern "yes" "haven't you eaten?" "i have, but..." "but what?" he ask me with a heavy bariton voice which made me scared i summon some courage to speak out "....it was little" "hmmmmm??" "yes sir" he look around to see that the coast was clear then he wisper into my ears "follow me to my cabin" i followed him to his cabin, when we arrive he opened a big bag and gave me some food stuffs which was more than enough for five persons. [b]The rebirth season 2 {the plot} episode 4a {half episode} mounching the food and chatting at the same time, seems like a new day in paradise "hmmmm morris, you're now the boss" boris said amid smirks "hmmm??" i murmur "you're indeed mad" boris fired back "what for?"i manage to suppress my laughter "for ignoring my praises" he replied amid laughter "hmmm boris you've started o" i warn him jokingly "yes ofcourse i started from where you stopped" he mimicked i just turn round to take a look at catherine only to see her laughing, she was busy laughing the day light out of herself, hmmm this one she is laughing like this , i hope i am safe o. I manage to take a close look at her and i discovered a very beautiful set of dimples on both sides of her cheeks. Wow this was the very first time that i will be seeing that, i mean this is the first time that i've seen her dimples. I never did know she have dimples. I was still looking at her when boris jolted me out of my stream of thoughts by a heat on my arm and jokingly said "catherine is calling you". I don't know if he said it or i just heard it but i was angry why can't this boy let someone rest na abi na witch e be that he will be disturbing me when ever i want to have a nice mind blowing movie? . . . "morris do you support their relationship?" he asked me further throwing more bomb shells at me unknowingly to him i quickly gathered myself up into one piece and took a look at him before replying "its left for you to decide" "morris , am in support, all i need now is your answer" "okay, to be honest, am in support, but lets wait for them to open up to us first before we can make any decision" "you're right, correct and accurate infact you're indeed a saint" duke pls stop flattering me" i rebuked him jokingly "no, why would i? [b]EPISODE 5 . . . it was during the night period that mr smith came as promised. I've already inform everyone of my family {adopted and real family, i mean my slave family cause we all now take ourselves as family} about his coming and everyone was taken aback, wondering what the almighty smith is coming to do in our lonely shack. It was more like a dream and every one was suprised if not shocked from the news that mr smith is coming to our shack. . . . FLASH BACK . . . After telling them about mr smith's intending visit, I could see boris's face twisting and smiling at the same time, i could see beyond those brave facial expressions that he was visibly scared. I guess he thought mr smith might have heard or found out that he {boris}called his brain that of punkin, i nearly laugh out loudly when such thoughts crossed my mind, but immediately i composed myself cause others might think am going insane or what, it was the voice of Doris that broke the silence. "morris i hope we are safe this one that smith is coming?" "yes dear, we are very safe" "are you sure?" catherine cuts in, i could see what looks like fear written all over her face, but i just ignore her fears . Went straight to where she was, held her by the shoulders and assured her "yes catherine, i am very sure, he just want to pay a visit , thats all....... The only person who wasn't disturbed about the news was duke. . . . PRESENT . . . Boris quickly walk to the door of our shack and open it while mr smith walked in . Wow i've become deaf and dumb over second, dumb to the extend of not even hearing when someone was even knocking, wow great, really great. He directed his gaze to the girls for them to know that he was really talking to them in particular "we're doing fine sir" Doris replied mr smith nodded as he smirk and rob his hands on his head, groans and finally closed his eyes. Boris quickly gave me that his sharp accusational look which on this occassion i decoded it as "boy did you just invite a dying man here? Or did the old man just come here to die?" i just smile dryly and walk up to boris , pat him on the shoulder and murmur audibly to him "come on boris the boris relax, the old man is making a decision, he is deciding either to tell us something or not. "okay, i've heard you" boris replied me with his relaxing a bit but not completely cause he wasn't sure about what i just told him. Just then, mr smith opened his eyes , looking around the shack as if searching for something, he murmured "excus me sir you said?" boris questioned him "i said lets eat first before any thing else" "eat? Which food? Where is it?" boris ask amid confused face mr smith and the girls started laughing as if something was amids, still laughing, mr smith stood up and moved closer to the door where he retrieved a bag he had come along with but have drop it near the door , wow i'm indeed extra dumb these days o, why didn't i notice it? Now i remember why catherine and doris were busy eyeing me continually but i wasn't paying attention or even trying to decode what they meant. Just then mr smith opened his bag and the first thing he brought out was punkin. I was stunned. Why can't this man even do without punkin?. As if reading my mind, he spoke up "punkin is a very nice vegetable, it is good for the health and it works well with the brain , thats the reason why i love it very much and i also like giving it out. " he was talking and bringing out the food stuff at the same time , soon enough, every was out of the bag and wow my mouth was salivating for the neck was tanterlizing {abeg check dtlc dictionary} . We all sat down to consume our nice dinner for the night. Yea it was a great time and mr smith was tired of telling us stories about virginia throughout the period we spent eating . . . [b][color =red]Episode 7[/color] [color =blue]During all the time we spent eating, mr smith was talkative, i always wondered if all white men are breeded with one single disease which is talking during dinner, why must i even mention dinner? Infact anytime that they are on the table, it is always a talking session. But out of their total talking during eating session,, breakfast claims 10percent cause here they are little bit in a hurry, lunch takes up 20percent cause here its only a little break and they use this period to ask about each other's fairing in his or her area of work, but breakfast is used only to ask or discuss about how one is planning of spending his or her day. While dinner aims at the remaining 70percent of the talking during eating session, cause here they discuss about how their day faired or went and also how hectic or splendid it was , coupled with other family or personal issues and some little family chit chat and fun. I can recall vividly when we're eating in our home in africa, we the children including the adults don't say a word or discuss a dim, when ever we're eating, noise is always prohibited infact it will be suicidal to talk during meal. He you will not be able to accomodate the deafening thunderous slap on your cheek, the best thing for you to do will be to close your mouth while eating to avoid story that touches the heart and inches the anus. The consequences were also very several that was why we also try to maintain much silence as possible cause no one wants to be a scape goat which means you'll be treated like a stupid billy goat, if not like a wild one at that. But here was different, here people talk as they want . Infact without talking when eating, the food wouldn't digest in their stomach , funny enough but here its a fact. We continue eating with mr smith updating up about the latest facts, gists and gossips going on in virginia. "have you heard about the rebels?" mr smith asked us at long last "rebels?" everybody chorus at once "yes , rebels" mr smith replied "why will there be a rebel?" boris managed to ask mr smith "okay boris, why did you fight mr norris the day that if molested morris?" mr smith ask no one in particular but boris name in the question suggested that the question was meant for boris[/color][/b]

[b][color =blue]Episode 8[/color] [color =red]And before i forget, mr Norris was the white man who boris fought with during our early arrive to virginia, the man who flogged me vigorously when i was very tired as a result of the hard work with little energy. His brutal act forced boris to challange in in a physical combat and boris did defeated him black and blue. That was when boris name was change from his native name agufia to boris. Since then , most of the white men don't cross boris part again mr norris inclusive. ######## "hmmm , that was because mr norris was cruel, brutal and heartless and he also like treating people like animals" boris answered his question "exaltly, boris, thats the reason why there are also rebels" mr smith replied with finality "but who's house is the rebels origin?" doris ask for the first time "you mean the rebels slave master?" "yes" doris replied him "its the mccumings" mr smith replied eating a mouthful of punkin "the mccumings are very brutal and you know they're good friends of the cliffords and am afraid" catherine chirp in amid shivering "come on mr clipper is a good man, the person you should be worried of is his son nerrick. Nerrick is a beast in human form" duke choked out "yes duke , thats my point , you see assuming that mr clifford dies now and nerrick took over this plantation, you'll see that most of the slaves will rebel cause of his arrogant manners and worst still his bruteness" mr smith spoke out still taking a stern look at boris face just then i decided to ask the question that have been bothering me for days "hey mr smith, when we join the rebels league what will be our role?" "thats a good question" mr smith nods while tapping me on the should at the same time "boris" mr smith called out "what have you observed lately about the mccumings rebels?" boris sat looking into space, i guess he was thinking about a suitable answer to render when suddenly he sat up . His eyes blazing red like blood and he opened his mouth and pronounce slowly "they kill to get freedom, destroys to get libert, thats what i'll do"[/color] tbc next week friday[/b]

Mr.smith just kept a straight face staring at Boris eye ball to eye ball, i noticed it but didn't know if the others noticed it also. "Boris, the right time will come" mr. smith finally voiced out after a long stare "yea Boris, mr.smith is right,the right time will come,but right now what we gat to do now is not to blow things up but to lie lowand get more proof,tactice,formation,people and most importantly weapons, cause you know the Americans got lots of weapons and guess what the slave got? nothing,absolute nothing other than population" i managed to speak up, Boris took a swift look at me, bend a little downwards and finally sat straight. "Morris, you gat lots of points there,we'll need to learn and discover los of stuffs about these men we are about to go to war with so as to get our ground and not starting a campaign that will lead to our doom" Boris closed his eyes after his speech and mr.smith spoke up "rightly said" "but after your campaign, what next?" catherine managed to ask looking at her, i knew she was very scared, scared of the unknown, scared of tge fate that awaits us if we fail in this particular campaign, i can imagine her picturing the hang man's rope,ready to execute the slaves captured alive after the battle that ended up in favour of the Americans, the entire slave popukations hanged and those who escaped hanging were made to work twice than before the campaign, and mr.smith getting fired from his office for sponsoring a rebellious campaign and finally sentenced to death by firing squad for treason and betrayal or let me just say traitor, yes as a traitor to his people. . . . . I was still lost in thought or should i say the stream of imagination when Duke's voice jolted me back to reality "it will be a glorious establishment of a free black nation and ofcourse no white man shall force us to do things against our instincts" "but what if we loss the campaign?" catherine pressed further "come on katty,stop being negative. we shall win" i assured her "i am scared, morris" she managed to voice out amid shiver "pls don't be, everything will be fine" i managed to calm her down but deep down within myself, i was equally scared but have to brave it and not behaving like a coward. life is all about taking risk, we risk to succeed and flee risk to fail.i thought about the BLOOD bath that is about to take place. a very nasty BLOOD bath for our freedom,yes are about to fight for our freedom from forced labour and also our children and their descendants to live in peace and freedom, being refered to as free people not to as slaves.but what about being called the descendants of slaves? that we can't change but it is better to be called the descendants of slaves than to be called slaves itself "a time is coming,when there will be a rebirth, THE REBIRTH of a new nation and civilisation, a nation free from slavery and a nation with its own govrenment and leadership runned by its own people" mr.smith spoke out "you're indeed right mr.smith" Boris commended mr.smith i just smiled at their silliness or should i say their silly hope or dreaming hope.we're yet to get our hands strong, not to talk buikding a strong army to carry out the campaign and here they are talking about a free black nation, only in their dreams.Talking about war is simple, starting a war is also simple but fighting during the war is one another thing and dying during the war os another thing. [b][color =blue]episode ①① . THE CHOOSING OF WAR LORDS . . Early the next morning, we woke up and resumed work as usuall, but this time around, with a renewed spirit. A spirit of rebelionand determination to be free. Free from slavery, free from oppression and bondage, free from bully and ill treatment, free from being treated like animals. The morning sun danced down fiercely on our bare backs and burned it with merciless vagor (vagour) forcing us to sweat more than normall and we were begining to see our shadows with our naked eyes under the hot piercing sun. But luckily enough for us, no white manwas with us and we used this opportunity to communicate our plans to our fellow slaves and ofcourse they supported the notion for an independent black nation, free from slavery and oppression. Gradually, our plot was spreadind like a wild fire among the slaves and each and every one of us supported ot fully. One of the factors that made it possible for us to communicate freely wothout being eve dropped was the use of our local language or should i say our dialet. we communicate in english to the ethnic groups with another dialet and this helped alot. wirhin three days, all the slaves were aware of the plan and it was egged on by everyone. Since everyone was consciouse of the plan,the nexy move was the choosing of war lords who will carry out the role of soldiers and defend us during the campaign. self defence was very mandatory and we didn't have any weapon, what will be our fate if we're conquered? and how do we get weapons to carry out the carry out the campaign we're about to embark on? these types of campaigns are always bloody tgan we might even imagine. DURING WAR, BLOOD ARE SHED, PEOPLE ARE KILLED, BONES ARE BROKEN, BODIES ARE DESTROYED, WOMEN ARE RAPED, CHILDREN ARE NEGLECTED AND EVENTUALLY CONVERTED TO CHILD SOLDIERS ONLY IF THEY ARE KILLED BY STARVATION OR BY BULLET OR BY THE BRUTAL SOLDIERS OF THE ENEMIES WHO KNOWS NO MERCY WAR, A DESTROYER OF FAMILIES, AN AGENT OF DEATH AND STARVATION. Were we ready to take this chance? what will happen to us all paraventure we lost the campaign? what will happen to our next generation to come if we are conquered? is this a perfect choice or decision? a decision of life and death??... . . . . . tbc . . .
