Episode one The Americans were taken by sueprise by the sudden outburst of actions being carried out by the slaves. They didn't have time to mobilize cause the the slaves didn't give them the needed time to do so before attacking them. Before hand, the slaves have already sixty thousand men who could fight to form the liberation army, (an army established by the slaves, although it was established secretely two weeks before the war broke out). Thirty thousand were under the infantry and was commanded by Boris. While twenty thousand were under the calvary and was commanded by Black -Duke. The last ten thousand were under the artilery and was commanded by Leo (Mr. Smith's son) , while Mr. Smith was the leader of the bands of slaves, a reservation of forty thousand men were to be left in the camp with the women and children but were also armed to the teeth incase of an attack on the camp. All the slaves in virginia and its environs formed the army, many of whom were liberated during raids on the Americans, they all had just one motive which was freedom and going back to their continent, Africa Their native land. I on my part, was also thinking of going back to Africa, to reunite with my family, i always picture my mother meeting catherine and also learning about Doris as her daughter inlaw, it always makes me smile. I was not among the liberation army though, i was among the reservation army, i was the one commanding the reservation army. ★★★★★★★★★★★★★★ It was a bright sunday morning when the slaves attacked and raided the homes of the Americans. Slaughtering and claiming weapons and at the same time getting ready their belongings to relocate from virginia. Before night fall, we've marched out of virginia mot after disassebling the Americans there. We moved down to North Carolina, here we did we did engage in a battle with the Americans, we countered them and finally defeated them, and pitched our first camp. This was where the leaders of all the groups were appointed and military commanders chosen. Boris was the the darest and most rugged of us all. Mr. Smith's son, Leo was made the commander of the artilery due to his artilery training and Mr. Smith was made our leader because he alone posses the required knowladge for our survival. . . *************************** don't forget to like us on facebook: https://www.facebook.com/luckythompson0 or subscribe to / read our blog: http://dtlcrepublic.blogspot.com for more stories Tbc

Episode Two . . After camping there for three days, we decided to move down south, which led us to move down south carolina, our aim waa to move to the carribean sea area and from there, hijack ships and sail to Africa. Getting to south carolina, we did encounter little or no resistance since most Americans there jave alredy fled to the western allies, probably to the Mississippi and Alabama. We took to this as an advantage not knowing that we were being pursued by the American troops, who were after us, probably to capture us back into slavery. We opened a camp in Columbia, and stayed there for some weeks, as a result of battles encountered. ★★ THE BATTLE LINE ★★ It was around twelve in the night or should i say morning? When the sentry guards on night watch saw an impending light from afar, its description by the guards made it look like a camping fire and thous the war was already at our door step. Around 6am that same morning, the liberation army mustered while waiting for Mr. Smith to give them the final speech. At long last, Mr. Smith finally came and everyone went silent as he opened his mouth to deliver his powerfull speech. "My fellow liberators " he began "i greet you all, we all know what lies at our door step, sure enough, we all have to face them. The Americans of which i am one wants to force you into, but here stands an American telling you to fight for youe freedom, slavery is not what one can claim possesion with. Being a slave means you don't have freedom, you can't talk freely, move freely, associate freely and you are not given the desired respect, you are forced to work excessively and above all, you are not treated like humans. The Americans treat you like animals, they clothe you half naked, starve you from food or give you two miserable square meals a day, amd yet still flogs and treat you with bruatality, when you tell them that 'no ' you can't continue as slaves again, that you want free, that you want to go on your way, live by yourselves as a free nation, they say 'no ' that you must remain as their slaves, which forced you to rebel from under them and went on your way, to live a free life, they chased after you to bring you back as their slaves, will you let them take you back as their slaves? " Mr. Smith asked the troops, while the troops replied with an angry voice "Nooooo!!! " "Will you seat dowm and watch while they take your wife and children as slaves? " "Neverrrr!!!" "What will you do? " "We shall fight the Americans " "All hail mother Africa " Mr. Smith roared out "Hail mother Africa " the troops roared back. Hail mother Africa rented the air as the troops started marching out towards the battle field, to doom or to victory. . like our facebook page: http://www.facebook.com/luckythompson0 or subscrbe and read our blog: http://dtlcrepublic.blogspot.com for more stories . Episode 3&4 I just stopd and watched as the troops marched out of the camp, first by the infantry, followed by the calvary and lastly the artilery. Although the artilery and the calvary had the same warfare function, the difference was that the artilery deals in heavy military equipment while the calvarh daels in lighter military equipment and they also act as back up to the infantry. I stood watching as Boris led them out, leading them to the battle field, the battle field of death. I cried, you know i cried, yes i really did cry but the reason why i cried was obviouse to me, i presume i was crying for the men who were about to die or was it for my brother or my family? It might be because of the that was about to be shed and spilled, either way, i really couldn't tell which i was crying for. It was a touch behind me that brought me back from the ocean of thoughts, i swiftly turn round to see the person, i saw a young boy who i guess must be between the age of 17 or 18 standind witj sweat pouring down his face which made me conclude that he ran down to call me, but i wasn't sure what for. "Hi Morris, Mr. Smith wants to see you, he is in his tenth, its very urgent, says you should come right away. " The lad concluded and ran away without waiting for my response. I immidiately made my way to Mr. Smith's tenth. On arrival, i saw him going through some map, without looking up, he asked me to have a seat. "Morris my boy, how are you doing?" "Am fine sir " "Good to hear that, cause we gat lots of work to do " "Am all ears sir " "Good " he gesticulated for me to come closer to which i obliged. "Look down here on this map " he began "we are currently in south carolina right? " "Yes sir " came my feeble answer " up here is north carolina, if you go either south or west you get to Georgia and if you move north west clockwise, you'll encounter the Appalachian mountain, go east you face the Atlantic ocean " "I see " "Gat what am trying to explain? " "No sir " I never did understand him cause i was lost in all his geographical theoeries. I was glad when he did explain it better. "You see " he began "the Americans are in Alabama, lets presume the battle is ranging on here in Columbia, assuming we move down to Atlanta in Georgia, the Americans in Alabama will have advantage over us cause northwards is an American troops chasing us, eastward is ocean and we gat no ship so our only hope will be to march down south. If we keep up camp here in Columbia, who knows how long we can hold the Americans off?" Looking keenly at Mr. Smith's explainations, it made sense and i understood pretty well what he meant, his theory was that our present location was no longer safe and we can't stand more chances against the Americans here, its better we move out. "Yes sir, i understand perfectly well what you just portrayed but where do we move to for the time being? " "Thats why i called you " I moved more closer to the map, took a careful look and then an idea struck me "What if we still move down south east of south Carolina ? " "What location? " "Charlestone will be a good point, you know, we can only keep watch on two places" "The west and the sea?" "Exactly" " Then thats it , we are moving south, pass the words to thw camp, we are moving in twenty four hours time " "Isn't that too short " "No, its enough time for us to park our stuffs and march on or do you want the Americans to visit us before we keep moving? " "No " "Alright, do as you you've been told " "What about the men on the battle field?" "You mean the troops? " "Yes " "Oh don't worry, that shouldn't be a problem " "How will the know that we've move out? " "Like i said before, i shouldn't be a problem " "But answer me first " "Alright " "Okay tell me " "I'll send two messengers to inform them " "Wouldn't that be risky " "You know we have not fix our communication system " "I know but its far too expose to send out just two men" "I know but two men will be hard to detect amd again they'll be armed to the teeth " "Okay sir " "Go and alert the camp so we can move on, the earlier the better " "Alright, am on it sir " I replied him as i left his tenth. . . . this story has been grounded due to lack of comment. to read the complet story visit our blog http://dtlcrepublic.blogspot.com our facebook page http://www.facebook.com/luckythompson0 to enquire about the story update email us [email protected] STORY HAS BEEN GROUNDED TILL FURTHER NOTICE!!!
