THE SECRET THEY ARE NOT TELLING US
I have heard of Ben Carson from different speakers and authors across the globe.. But none of these people had ever mentioned to us, that far back before Ben Carson separated the Siamese twins, that he used to read his books in most of his university days from 7 a.m till 11 p.m(16hours) with only few times to rest. He doesn't read to pass exams, he reads to know. They don't talk about it because it won't fit into the world view of the word "luck".
Don't you know of some few students in school who always do claim the don't read very hard for exams. But these same students will be getting the highest scores and carting the departmental awards. There's this inherent fear of being outshined by an average African person that many of us are ready to tell you what you want to hear and not what you need hear! Many of the people leading today are actually bleeding to lead. The sweat it out in secrets and come to the open to show you only their sweets and not their sweats!
There's a saying that if you tell an average person what it takes to be extraordinary in life, the person will most likely prefer being average than paying such a huge price! You don't need any effort, any encouragement to be in the generalities in life. You just have to be doing what pleases you or what you see others doing with no or little effort.
But if you want to stand out from the crowd, if you want to lead the pack, if you want to make a name, if you don't want to be among the also ran, you have got to put consistent effort to the works of your hands and dreams in life beyond the widest imagination of any average mind. You have got to be creative and have an inner drive to keep you plying the rough roads of greatness in life.
Do you even know that in America, their presidents are not allowed to sleep for more than 4 hours out of the 24 hours in a day? A lay man will think that holding such a position entails doing anything you want to do at whenever you want to do it without query.
In life, nothing works until you work. Any enterprise that is thriving today has a human being(and not spirit) with a creative mind who is relentlessly kicking the engine and steering the wheels behind the public views. Just as a duck floating on top of the water but the beneath the water surface are the duck's legs fiercely moving front and back to keep itself afloat so also the the lives of successful people in are cool and calm in public but are secretly sweating it out behind the scenes of life dramas.
In life and destiny, many people are working far harder than they are really willing to disclose to you. The sacrifices they have made. In other not to attract more enemies and envy, some will tell you they got to where they are today by luck. But deep down in their heart, they know they are not telling you the real truth. They will leave you wondering why such luck never come your own side or is the universe partial to you?
Then you keep waiting for when your own luck will locate you or when your creator will read you letter. While you are waiting and wasting, that same fellow is working harder and smarter, and sacrificing every passing day making the odds to be at his favour. He will wipe his sweats anything he knows he will meet you so you won't how he sweats to get the luck he tells you he is getting.
Hear this secret here. You shall know the truth and the truth shall set you free. The hand of the diligence shall bear rule. The hand of the diligence will make rich. The thoughts of the diligence tends to plenteousnes. It's high time we stop waiting for that one magical thing to happen and hand down to us, that which we wish for. It will never happen.
Anybody the universe has ever lifted out from the crowd, the universe had done so through the person's hard and creative works, thoughtful strategy and positive mentality turned with a burning desire to excel in life. They are ready to walk to the extreme and work it out there and stay put until the success is being gotten from that unfriendly surroundings.
