PROLOGUE Its not mandatory to write this cos all I want to write has been written in the first part.The second part covers the new world I now find myself in.Its a world where am alone with all the numerous girls in the institution,alone to bear their temptations,did I really survive it?did I keep my 'anointing ' intact for Tenniebenson? Episode 1a The walk home was a silent one cos I was yet to recover from the shock of what happened the other time.Many question ran across my mind that moment but I couldn't get an answer to it so I waved it off and concentrated on the issue at hand. We got home in no time and started what brought us there.We were through with the arrangement late in the night and she opted to sleep in my room although her's is just some meters away.I accepted after minutes of arguments and pleadings.She packed my cooking items outside and started cooking.I wanted to go and help her with it but decided against it and then took my phone to chat with friends and post on Facebook. She came in later keeping an angry face "so you couldn't come to help me with it,right?" she asked feigning anger. "but what does that suppose to mean?its not like you called me and I didn't answer you" I replied her "oh!I see,so if I didn't call you.....okay,do what's good for yourself" she said and went back to her 'place of work'.I remembered Tennie that very moment though I couldn't contact her cos I lost my phone after her departure and she couldn't call me either since I'm now using another number.I tried searching for her on facebook but it wasn't successful.I gave up later and went outside for fresh air.Different people were passing by,both guys and ladies though it was the later that caught my attention cos they were too flashy and looked like ......huh,don't even think about it.I thinking about different thing at the view before me that my 'pastor' was gaining attention already.I was too into the view that I didn't notice Becky's stare.She cleared her throat to gain my attention and started laughing when I looked at her.She probably notice the change in size of my trouser,but is it funny?I asked myself.I rushed inside when I realise that she wasn't going to stop the laughter anytime soon and I was welcomed by the aroma of the food she prepared.The smell was quite familiar and I conclude that she cooked beans.I waited for her and she entered some seconds later still smiling. "what's the cause of your laughter?" I asked her immediately she entered "nothing " she replied still smiling "and you want me to believe that?" I asked her again "what do you want me to say?" she answered my question with a question which is no big deal considering the fact that we are Nigerians ;-) "tell me what made you laugh the other time" "you" she said in almost a whisper "me?" "yes,you" "how?why?" "cos you were looking at what you don't need and if you truly need it you have someone that is ready to give you,I was disappointed in you sha cos I thought you were a saint" I felt embarrassed and which I didn't went out for fresh air the other time.But I'm still a saint,yes I'm.She is just pulling my legs and I won't let that get into my head. "do you want to serve the food or I should do it myself" I said changing the topic "is that what you want to say?" "what do you expect me to say?" I asked staring at her "huh,nothing" she sighed She served the food in one plate and we both got ready for action.I didn't want to eat in this same plate cos her face is just so ****.I did what I was expected to do;staring at her and then she did the same thing;starting the lip kiss.I enjoyed the kiss this time than the first one cos I expected it this time and then she opened my mouth with her tongue and I did the same since I don't want to let her see me as a starter.Her lips were soft and I wished the kiss wouldn't stop.I was wowed by her professionalism and I concluded that I wasn't the first Person she is kissing unlike me.She moved her head left and right and I move mine in the opposite direction pressing her head against mine. I broke the kiss after some minutes and I stared back at the food in front of me,and then resumed the battle since the 'food's army' haven't accepted defeat yet.She dropped her spoon and went out to God-knows-where and I didn't bother stopping her since all I wanted that minute is just for her to leave my room and never return.The Devilish part of me opposed my thought and he won cos she entered my room that minute.She sat down on my bed and took my phone,I wanted to stop her but decided against it and continue eating my food since there is nothing discriminating on it.She dropped it after some minutes and shifted to where I sat resting her weight on me.I could feel something soft though I couldn't name it.I pushed her off gently and ate the food quickly leaving the plate behind,I went outside...... What was she trying to do?I asked myself bewildered.she can't do me any harm I concluded and went back inside to find out why and what she was planning to do.... To be continued.......

Episode 1b I rushed inside,my heartbeat thus increase and it pumped blood at an incredible rate.My breathing also became abnormal and I occasionally stopped in my tracks to make it stable.A walk of 15 seconds turned into 15 minutes.I finally arrived at my door post and then walked past it,I came back when everything seems stable.I inhaled and exhaled deeply and then opened the door to meet a half-naked stranger on my bed. Episode 2c We ate in silence thereafter though my mind was in a different plate.Everything will soon be over,I concluded within myself after minutes of thorough thinking which Becky realised but was scared to bring up the topic. We stood at the same time and headed for the exit hastily.I was ashamed cos of the attention but since I can't do anything to stop it,I let them have their way.I breathed deeply when we finally got outside,Becky noticed my nervousness and smiled mockingly,'she is probably used to it' I reasoned.We planned walking down to my villa but cos of what happened earlier,we didn't.We arrived after some minutes in the taxi and entered my room with the things we both which were mostly soup ingredients. She got to work in no time.I wanted to keep myself busy,so I logged on to coolval to read some stories.A call came in from an unknown number and I picked it at first ring. "hello" a voice said from the other end.The voice was familiar and I knew at once who it was;My angel,Tennie "wow,longest time" I exclaimed happily "I'm sorry about that,I should have called but I was busy with school" she apologise "Oh!You don't need that,I understand everything,just say focused and face what you are in school for,okay?" I advised her "thanks,how are you doing over there?" She asked "I'm fine oh,we thank God,you nko?" "I'm fine also just that I'm missing you" she said "same here dear,why not visit me this weekend?" I asked her hoping to get a positive answer "I can't,I will be busy with assignments and practicals.I don't think I will be free to travel" she said dashing my hopes "But I can visit you instead,can't I?"I asked hoping she accept cos I can't just wait to see her again "no,you can't"she declined yet again "what's wrong?"I asked,on a good day I knew she would have agreed visiting me or at least I go over to meet her but here she was declining both,is there something I'm missing? "nothing,just that its too early for visitation." she said although I wasn't convinced a bit "too early to visit someone you claim to love?" "no,not that" "what's it then?" "let me call you back later,the lecturer is in" She said and ended the call not even waiting for my reply. I disengaged the phone from my ear and noticed I wasn't alone,Becky was there with me. "your girl is back,I hope" she said smiling and frowning "yes o,I've missed her so much" I told her "hmmm......love birds,don't kill us with love oh" she said and laughed sarcastically. Episode 3 what could be wrong with her?I asked myself over and over again but I couldn't find an answer to the question.I decided to let it go and focus on myself.I went out to keep Becky's company and help her with some petty things.She finished cooking soup after some minutes but was undecided on the food we are to take.After much debate we went for Amala'yam flour'.The food was very delicious,the soup making it super enjoyable. "Girlie,your boyfriend dey enjoy o"I joke, "yes o,abi you no enjoy ni?" she asked me back in the same manner "hmmm,I'm talking of your guy,not me" I said "what's the difference?" she asked yet again "the difference is that I'm not your boyfriend and I can never be" I said mockingly eyeing her "Oh,I get it,Oko Tennie." she said smiling "e se o,we don't even know your boyfriend anyway and I'm sure you ain't single" "what make you so sure?" she asked "I am very sure concerning the way you....." I wanted to talk of our ordeal but decided not to complete the sentence "the way I do what?" she asked questioning me with her eyes "huh....nothing,never mind" I said halfheartedly "better you don't spit it out cos I will just kill you" she said showing her little and harmless fist as evidence. "you dare not" I exclaimed playfully and we ended up with our usual rough play. I could feel the softness of her br***t once again,and this made sensation and desire build up in me,abi nw,when I'm not okobo'impotent'.I quickly disengaged from her but she seems not to have enough of the show and wanted to continue but then I pointed at the bulge my 'pastor' has already created,she understood the message and gave up.We resumed our eating duty after some minutes of 'strike' though she suddenly lost appetite and I was tasked to go to 'job' all alone.I finished eating and she packed the plates.We gisted till midnight about different things.We slept exhausted at around 1am in the morning waking up at 10am.Since it was a Sunday morning,we were late for service that day and didn't bother dressing up for church.She did what she was supposed to do;cleaning the room and providing food.She was ready to go to her apartment after everything.I escorted her to to her villa and stayed there till evening.Some students were even looking at us with envy in their eyes,what made them do that is what I don't know.I went back to my villa at around seven in the evening,to meet my housemates outside celebrating.I got closer and realised they were new students and were just celebrating the commencement of life on campus.I was forced to join them.The celebration lasted for hours though we were later told that it was nothing yet,that we will celebrate it fully on our matric night.We were to pay #500 for the get together party.I retired to my room tired and picked up the phone to call Tennie.The first time,second time,third time she kept rejecting my calls.She later decided to switch off her phone when she saw that I wasn't going to stop anytime soon. Why is she behaving like this?why?why?why?I kept on asking myself what's wrong?is she probably dating another person over there?Impossible! Where can she be at this time of the night? I couldn't sleep all through the night praying that she wasn't doing/engaging in what I was thinking cos I don't know what I will do if I find out she is cheating,I will probably kill myself. Continuation..... I woke up early the next day since it was a Monday and lecture starts that very day.I was nervous cos its my first time of going for lecture.I dressed up hurriedly and since I didn't have the time-table,I have to get to school early so as to sort out myself.I got ready by 6;50am and headed to Becky's place so that we can go to school together.She was already dressed when I got there and we both headed to the school gate. We got to school at exactly 7;15am and then departed to our different department.I got to my department to meet my correlates already seated,waiting for the lecturer.I got in and settled at the last seat on the first row. There are four boys seated on the seat already so I introduced myself and we were already talking like friends of ages. I noticed that the boys were the ones occupying the rear seat while the girls prefer the front row.I asked for the lecture schedule and I copied it down in the note I carried along with me. The lecturer entered after what looked like eternity and introduced himself as Engr. Lewis,his course code is MEC112 which is technical drawing.He introduced his course and told us the reason and significance of the course in our department.He listed the materials we are to buy and left after telling us some stories and cracking some dry jokes about his life experience at the polythecnic.He dropped his phone number when leaving and some of the students wrote it down though I didn't see a reason why I need it.The other lecturers weren't around so we spent the whole day talking,joking,laughing,playing and so on.I made some new friends since I am the jovial and friendly type,It wasn't a problem doing it. I left school by 3pm in the afternoon when the worms in my stomach wouldn't let me rest that was when I remembered I haven't eaten since morning.I called Becky on phone so that she can come over to my place so as to take care of the cooking stuffs.She arrived sweating profusely as she entered my room looking worked out. "what's wrong?what have you been doing?" I asked as soon as she sat down "I haven't finished my registration and that's what I've been doing since your departure" she said pausing to grab her breadth at interval "but you ought to have told me,I may be of help" I said calmly "I didn't want to bother you,I'm hungry,do you have anything I can eat?" "that's why I called you in the first place" "Oh!I get it,I've become your cook right?" she said hitting me playfully "don't you know?my dear,get to work right away". "okay sir,let me change" "change where?I don't have clothes that you can wear o and moreover you don't need to" "but I can wear this" she said picking one of my sportswear "yes you can but that will be hilarious" I said thinking of how she would look in the wears "none of your concern" "okay ma" "close your eyes oh,I want to change" "which kain close be that?se you be APC ni?" I got to class to meet some of the guys I met yesterday discussing,I walked up to them, and greeted them individually;shaking hands with them since Ebola was nowhere in sight.I realised the discussion was centered on girls rather than lectures and I knew the kind of guys they were;although they have many names,Shaxee call them players,but I call them the 'shoki type' as they were popularly known to be the ones with the highest,longest list of girls they have laid with regardless of her age,height,weight,size,complexion,busty or not.Although I like hearing their stories but I couldn't Imagine myself doing all those dirty works.They later stopped the discussion when a lecturer came in.He talked and talked and talked,unlike the Technical drawing lecturer he is very strict and stern looking,though records shows few or no student ever fail his course.He introduced his course as Engineering Mechanics and dictated the course outline.He went out after some minutes.He wasn't the type of lectures that love talking though and all he said was words concerning his course. "Your number sir" The students chorused when he was leaving "office number 12" he said walking away The guys with me laughed at the girls who asked the lecturer his number and the whole class joined them. We resumed our talks but this time on a more specific persons;each guy with his own story of at least one sex-moment. Continued..... We left school around 4 in the evening after Michael took us out for lunch.Michael,Khola and I headed to the hostel room where he kept his luggage and the little foodstuff he brought with him from home.We carried it inside Michael's car and headed to my villa. We got there and took it inside to meet Becky waiting for me.With the look in her eyes,she was disappointed cos I told her to come around by 3 for her usual chores.I apologise and introduced my new roommate to her.It seems to make her angry and sad at the same time but she expertly hid it but I knew at once what that meant;deprivation of her freedom..... Episode 4 The day was uneventful,we both ended the day knowing each other fully well from family to likes and dislikes and everything we need to know about one another. He hail from the south-western part of the country,dark in complexion and the first born of a family of four,his other siblings are still in the secondary school level.He is studying Mechanical engineering in the polythecnic which makes our course a bit similar since I am also studying Civil. "back to my own business" "don't worry about that bro,Becky is yours.She also feel something for you though I don't know what,but I will advice you to wait a bit,cos it seems you are rushing things" "I need to rush things,I don't want to be an outcast,virtually all of you have someone to turn their attention to" "yes,you are right but about the Becky matter,you can't rush that one but we can do some real business at school tomorrow if you think you are ready for action" "I am ready" "Its not a matter of the mouth,you know that we won't be alone on this and any f+**k up will be disastrous" "what do I do,I want to get this done this week" "Since you want to do it quickly,get some books at that corner,they will be helpful in overcoming your fears and also help with the presentation of your project" I told him pointing to some books arranged at the edge of the reading table.He took one of it which I thought caught his attention and started digesting its content with the aid of the reading lamp. I slept around 12 since Khola wasn't interested in our talks again. I woke up with the help of the bulb which was now shining as a result of the restoration of electricity,I opened my eyes to see a standing figure holding an unfamiliar object..... Continued....... I was shocked beyond words and afraid at the same time wondering what the mission of the person was.The image was blur and I couldn't see the person clearly.I blinked an rubbed my eyes just to get a clear look at the intruder,it was Khola. "guy wetin be dis na?you want kill person abi?" I asked him angrily. He didn't answer but rather keep staring at the book in his hands. "you don dey crase,ogun n gbo" He didn't answer again,instead he started demonstrating how he will approach the unseen and unknown lady she is meeting at school. I hissed and lied down again to sleep. I woke up the next morning hearing noise.I sat up and realised that it was the snoring sounds of Khola "oloshi,you suppose do night vigil na" I said and hissed hitting him with my leg.I tried waking him up by slapping his hands gently but he wasn't responding.I increased the force exerted on the slaps but still no response.I raised my hand into the ceiling and brought it down on his cheek.His CNS responded to it quickly and he woke up rubbing his cheek. He looked with me angrily and I walked away laughing hard.I fetched water from the well in the compound so as to bath with it. I got back into the room seeing Khola waiting for someone,which I know to be me.He took his towel and headed to the bathroom,probably expecting me to fetch water for him like I did yesterday. "who used my water?" I heard someone Screaming from the backyard and went out to see Khola finding what wasn't lost. "what are you finding?"I asked him though I knew "my water" "which water" "the one you fetched for me" "and who told you I fetched water for you" "so you didn't?" "No i did,ode,look here,you are no more a stranger,go outside and fetch water yourself,I'm not enslaved to you" I said calmly "okay sir" he said in a mocking tone and bowed a bit "na you know o" We got ready for school and since no one to cook for us,we left for school 'fasting'. School was same as usual,the busy walkway occupied by students both legal and illegal ones.We both went our different way when we got to school with the intentions of coming back together at noon when we will both be through with lecture for the day. Our lecturer wasn't around as announced by the acting-governor of the department and this brought mixed feelings,some were happy and some weren't. I was one of the happy ones at the announcement.I and the other guys got together to all on different matters.Our attentions were caught by a damsel strolling;probably to class.I couldn't describe the girl cos I was the last to look in her direction but I saw her big 'backyard' and I could see that,it was the view which got people attention. Khola showed up some minutes later,looking from left to right like a mother looking for her lost son.He walked up to us and greeted,shaking hands. I put up a challenging game to all of them and they all agreed,since I am now the oga,we need an assistant,so they were to go after the fifth girl to walk in front of us. They were to take numbers and know who will go first. Sunkanmi chose the first number,Followed by Joshua,Victor,Khola and Michael respectively. Sunkanmi's catch was a busty girl though she was deprived of a beautiful face.He approach the girl and they were both talking.They conversed in low tones so no one heard what they were saying except short laughs and smile that escaped the girl's mouth. He came back and claimed the ugly girl was forming hard to get and all he got from her was her name and phone number. "Imagine,that wretched witch" he exclaimed after explaining his ordeal with the girl. The next to go is Joshua,his 'catch' wasn't endowed with lumps butoozed attractive.He approached her with confidence and they ended up walking away,probably he was doing the girl's wish.The rule of the game was that,other must wait till the conclusion of the present challenge so we waited for his arrival.My eye caught a funny view,Khola was busy with practise that I wondered what was wrong with him.I searched for his eyes but he kept looking downwards uttering inaudible words. Joshua came back smiling and said that he followed the girl to where she wanted to print some assignment and he left the place when she said she 'yes' to his pleas.He also said the girl promised to pass the same route when going back to her hostel room.We all clapped for him and he smiled. Virgin Victor as popularly called by Michael rejected the challenge saying he doesn't want anything to do with it. So it was Khola's turn,his girl was a beautiful one and endowed with both entity.He smiled with satisfaction when he saw who his fate got him.He stood up though I can sense the nervousness in him but he expertly his it from the other guys.We all watched the drama as Khola walked up to the girl to deliver our message...... Continued..... A call from an unknown number,I picked it and waited. "hello" an angelic voice said from the other side,from the pitch and note of the voice,I knew at once who owns it "Hello Gloria" "How do you know its me?" "I do remember voices" "Including mine" "yes,yours is the first on my list" "okay,where are you?" "My department" "Good,I will be there in a jiffy,here seems so boring" "okay dear,I will be waiting" "stop it" "stop what?" "stop dearing me" "is that an offence" "yes" "okay ma,Sorry" I said and heard a short laugh from the other end.We conversed for sometime and she ended the call when lecturer entered their class.Khola was back by now and he gave reports of his mission.The girl,Victoria is a student of masscomm and a full-time Christian.He said the girl wasn't interested in anything but his friendship and the friendship as he reported comes with a lot of conditions.He listed the no-end conditions and we were laughing at all the conditions. "what do you want to do with her?" I asked him "it was a game,so I will let her go,what else?" he said feigning seriousness and winking at me. I got the message and kept quiet. Gloria showed up at my department thirty minutes later.She was looking beautiful,elegant,attractive,sexy and even handsome in the purple gown she wore.The gown stopping some inch below her thighs,a white and purple purse with a white flat sandals.I excused myself from the others and walked up to her.I stood in front of her not knowing which way to greet her;shaking hands or hugging.The later will be the sweetest but its result is something I didn't want to witness.I stretched my hand looking into her eyes.She declined at first but later took it when she saw I wasn't going to give up.I took her by the hand and led her to a quiet corner.We talked and gisted,joked and laughed at what we see to be funny.The moment was a happy one and I never wanted it to end.She left when she received a call from someone she said to be her mother demanding her presence at home. I got back to meet the other guys and gisted them about our discussion,making additions and subtraction at places where its due.I cleared my throat to address them about the issue at hand. "since none of you guys won the challenge,we will continue from there next week,though your missions will be chosen at random this time around" they all agreed and we departed some after talking,arguing and getting about different topics. The remaining days of the week was uneventful except the visit of Gloria to my department.Khola and Victoria were getting closer as day goes by and the same goes with Gloria and I. We were talking under a mango tree planted at the front of our department one afternoon when an Idea struck my mind "hope you don't mind if I ask this question?" I asked looking intently at her "what's it?" "promise me you won't get angry" "I promise if...." "no room for if,just promise me" "Okay,I promise" "promise to do it for me" "I can't do that cos I know what you intend saying and I'm not interested in things like that" she said angrily raising her voice a bit. "nothing other than that" I said hoping my insistence could make her change her words "oh,i see.It seems you are now showing me your real character,I saw you as a friend and here you are taking my tolerance as a means of telling me stories?" she said,her face displaying different emotions;hate,hurt,disappointment. "calm down Gloria,its not up to this" "Don't calm me down,get this straight,this will be our last time of sitting together and don't you ever dare to call my number,what rubbish" she said walking away. I couldn't believe this was happening to me,if not for the absence of the other guys everything would have been more complicating. I watched her leave swinging her waist from left to right and her 'backies' seems angry also.The view was so painful and disheartening,watching someone like her leave me was something I wished wouldn't happen......... The line went dead thereafter and I eagerly awaited for her next move.As expected the message arrived from her and I opened it with high spirits which I couldn't decipher where I got it. Her words was simple and straightforward I DONT THINK I CAN CONTINUE WITH THIS RELATIONSHIP....DONT BOTHER ASKIBG ME WHY COS I WONT PICK YOUR CALLS.GOODDAY The message displayed boldly on my screen and I couldn't believe my eyes,I have to read it countless time to know if I saw the correct thing. I showed Khola the message and he read it quietly "what........." Continued....... I was revived by the different sizes of punches i received from Khola the moment I blacked out,I thought a person that fainted should be revived by sweet and delicious liquids or better still water but in Khola's case he knows only one way to revive;his fists. I stood uo angrily and Dusted myself.My disappointment and sadness were now replaced by anger and frustration and I was determined to fight him regardless of our friendship.He knew this at once and left the room hurriedly to leave my problems and me alone. I continue thinking about the break-up text Tennie sent and I know at once that I'm now a single and free guy.The thought of being single brighten my spirit but on a second thought it makes me depressed. I later decided to trade my sorrows with happiness by visiting Becky and if chanced maybe I can get a hot romance from her. I quickly got up to take my bath. I got out to pick a bucket and discovered all the buckets were filled with water,I picked one instantly and decided to empty the content on my body.I exited the bathroom after some minutes and quickly entered my room to avoid the rants expected of the owner of the water. I wore a fitted black trouser and green top.Sprayed myself a bit with the available pef and left for Becky's villa. I got there in no time and as expected I met her at home cooking. The plump girl repeated the question up to the fifth time before gaining their attention.She left after being told Becky went out but not until she abused them with some selected words. The girls looked at themselves and then continue their talks after raining curses on the plump girl who abused them. I continue with my thoughts and was in a trance where the supposed girl was with me on bed giving me a hot romance.I was licking my lips in excitement when the two girls went out without uttering a word to me. I hissed and moved over to sleep on the bed and decided to close my eyes.The door opened at that moment and Becky entered with my pick both smiling.I smiled too at the view and I was assured of certainty,I'm no more alone.I know Becky must have done a great job considering the fact that she convinced a girl meeting me for the first time to act like this.

CONTINUED..... The dreaded girl stood before me smiling sheepishly and invoking fear in me at the same time. I sat down not moving an inch from my former position for the fear of scaring her away. I finally got over my fear and stood up to stand in front of her,she stared upwards to meet my gaze and we were both. locked up in the view for sometimes before I looked away,thank God Becky wasn't around she would probably see something to make jest of me later. I stood upright and stared down at her looking for the words. to win her completely over to my side. She wasn't helping matter either with a deafening smile always displaying on her lips. She finally took a step backwards And moved towards the door going for the handle. I held her hand and then words flew out through my nostrils. " I don't know. what Becky told you but I couldn't help falling in love with you immediately I entered and saw you ,I was glued to you naturally at that instance and couldn't help but stare at you some more times before she offered to help on the matter."All the words were like incantations to my ears but I know it registered in her mind cos she seem calm as I paused to catch my lost breadth.

"mom?"I asked still undecided.She confirmed my fears and then I was afraid,an intense fear!If she could get Becky's number without my knowledge and I didn't notice,I wonder what else she has done that I'm unaware of.Only God knows the quantity of information Becky has given to her. Continued.. "hello" A deep voice answered,making me tremble at the pitch of the sound which almost rendered my eardrum useless."let me go straight to the point,Your girl is with us and you have just 24 hours to come to the address I will send to you after this call,This is a serious matter and we are paid to kill her as soon as we get her in our custody but I don't want to do that and if you can meet my requirements I will release her to you,you can talk to her" He said while I listened carefully,could it be Becky?no,that can't be,she left and I didn't see anybody trailing her,how could this have happened,Oh,Lord,I don't want to be involved in this.Please lead me through. Becky's voice sounded which confirmed my fears that she was the one help captive,who could be responsible for this?why her?did she offend someone?I couldn't get someone to answer my question. Continued...... "Hello Becky,Becky?" "Yes,let me try her number again" I picked my phone,dialed her number but it was switched off. "switched off?"Khola asked "yes" I nodded hiding the phone in my pocket. "Then we have to act fast,but going there without any form of back-up will be very dangerous.Lets inform the police"He(Khola) advised "You are right,lets go there now,we will head to the address being sent thereafter."I said and we both headed out. It was around 6:45 when we got to the station,we were given a sheet of paper to write how the incident started and we did.The officer in charge promised to help and then we made a plan.His team of policemen were to follow us to the place but stop at a distance to avoid being spotted,if we didn't show up after fifteen minutes then they will barge into the building.We got to the place and saw it was an abandoned building probably due to funds or other factors. "You have no cause to be afraid,but play on their intelligence and hold them with your talks,then we will enter and arrest them."The officer said,his plan was a perfect and seemingly easy.We headed towards the building which was seven buildings away from where we stood. I entered first followed closely by Khola after reciting 'Our Father',though I knew I misplaced and ate some of the lyrics. We got into the building and met it empty,not even a trace of a living soul.I picked my phone to call the person that called me but his line was switched off. Just then we heard footsteps behind us,striking fear into my weak heart.We both turned at the same time but fortunately,that was the only thing I remembered. I opened my eyes when I felt cold liquid being poured on me,my vision was blur but I knew I wasn't in the building anymore,the room wasn't properly lit,only a small window provided light but that was enough to see everything in the room.I looked beside me and saw Khola being tied,I wanted to untie him but the I couldn't move my hands nor legs. She cleared her throat to speak but then her phone rang and she moved a distance to answer the call,the phone was on speaker and I heard the hello of the caller clearly,she was speaking with no other person but Gloria.I remembered that instance that she was the girl I saw with Gloria the first time we met.But what was my offence?She broke up with me,didn't she?what is she planning? Having realise this she lowered the volume of the phone and moved a bit farther.She ended the call after a few seconds and came back standing in front of me. "You know who I am,don't you?" Continued.... She slapped me once again but this time it was placed directly above the hands of the guard who gave me my first treat,my CNS was at their very best and I got to know that I was slapped faster than I could Imagine.I looked around but couldn't see Khola anymore,not even a trace,where is he?has he escaped from here?a question of hope came up amidst all the other negatives,yes,he could have been released cos from the view of things it seems she is only interested in me. I looked away,the thoughts of being beaten by a girl is nothing but a disheartening one not to talk of someone I could break into parts with my bare hands,can I?question for another day. "can't you talk?I asked you a question" She shouted at me scaring me with her voice,I was visibly shaken and was terrified. "Yes,I know you" I managed to say unable to look into her eyes. "That's good which means you know why I'm here" "I....I....I d.....do...don't"I stammered and that resulted into a hard-earned slap that made my cheek turn red,I couldn't see it but I Can bet all my fortunes that its colour should be deep red.I couldn't move nor say a word,all my system could do to save me was the free flow of tears. "Get me a chair" She said to one of the guards,he stormed off and appeared with a plastic chair,placing it behind her. "Okay,I will tell you but note this,I don't like repeating myself twice,okay?" I nodded and shouted 'okay' at the sight of a raised hand,this is becoming unbearable!! "I am Gloria's friend as you know,my name?Precious,yes people like you see us as friends but we both are more than friends,so close that she can be called my twin sister from another mother.Let me ask you this questions and failure to give me answers then I won't take it easy on you.How will you feel when you see a loved one suffering?" "Bad,very bad" I answered Immediately "Oh,I don't need the question,you already told me the answer by falling into our trap,do you think we actually kidnapped your girl or let me say that witch,we didn't just a plan we devised and thankfully you fell for it,it was from a close source anyway" She said while I looked shockingly at her,she smiled having noticed the effect of her revelations,but how could I have been so foolish not to know this all these while?,but why didn't she pick my calls?I have to know everything if God lets me get out of this alive.I wanted to ask her who?but the strength was missing,could it be Khola,maybe he was freed because he is one of them,the thought almost made my brain malfunction but then I have to be myself to get to the root of the matter,but I assure you Khola,you will definitely regret this!!!you will pay!!!my mind shouted angrily as the image of Khola appeared before it. "My second question isn't worth asking cos like the first you've already given me the answer to it,but if I may ask,what will you do if you see your loved ones suffering?" "Try to eliminate the it or better still reduce it" "In my own case I want to eliminate,and You know what that means,the third question,your friend is suffering and you know the cause of his problem,what will you do?" She asked then waited eagerly for my response,I took my time to digest the statement she made and no doubts about it,Gloria is the one suffering,She is the avenger and I am the source of her(Gloria) sufferings,how? Since I've got my brain back,the question seem hard to answer cos the answers available are complicated....If I say I will get the person punished,this may further increase the punishment I am to receive and If I say otherwise it may also lead to somewhere unknown to me,so I answered her "I don't know,I haven't been in that kind of situation before" I said avoiding her piercing eyes,she is dam good at interrogation criminals,only that I'm not one.. "Oh!Ridiculous!!You were afraid to tell me what your actions will be,thinking I will take it as your judgement but that is not the case cos Gloria needs......"she trailed off while I eagerly expected her to finish the sentence,Gloria needs what?.I couldn't ask her neither do I have any other alternative to tell me what she needs,but no doubt about it,I must be part of the plan...Definitely. She left us there after receiving another call and instructed the guards present to give us something to eat. "Khola,wake up Jo" I said slapping his back,probably he has been sleeping all these while,sleeping when you are in danger.... "Guy,I dey with you o,see my life now" He said,bitterness evident in his speech,who won't be? "Guy,we are into this together,remember and we are surely going to leave this place,by His grace,I believe that." I said appearing confident to him,though I was shaken deep inside me,probably more afraid than he is but in this instance,one must appear strong when the other is weak to raise their hope of seeing the sky again. We were given food,and after eating I decided to lie down,since I was exhausted but didn't know the lying down will eventually turn to some hours sleep. ****** I was woken by Khola,it is morning,I think since the light seem brighter than it was when I slept sometime ago.I looked up,rubbing my eyes and forcefully opening them. Precious walked in at that moment wearing a brown dress which stopped some centimeters above her knees,she was adorned with all kinds of make-up,I looked at Khola,but his eyes were already on me,we looked forward at once,and there she stood looking downwards at the two innocent souls she locked up because of some reasons she wasn't willing to spit out...when will we eventually be released?Only Jah knows. She squatted beside me placing her lips directly opposite my ear lobe,what's she doing? "I can't find an adjective to qualify what I feel for you for treating my sister(Gloria) so bad that she hasn't been talking to anyone.Her condition grow worse every passing hour and how painful it is that,YOU caused it.I warned her not to even talk to you that day but she refused,giving silly excuses,I feel like killing you right now,that's the only emotion I feel,nothing more" She screamed at the last words so loud that all attentions were directed towards our direction,different annoying sounds were being produced in my ear. She stood walking over to one of the guys that came with her,she brought out a black item,I wouldn't have been able to recognise it if not for the privilege I was given to watch American film, She walked back to where I sat,squatted and placed the pistol on my cheek,the temperature sending cold shiver down to my spine and the entirety of my body followed suit,My temperature will no doubt be at the egbon of freezing point by now. I was visibly shaking and sweating that I wondered if one could actually sweat when feeling cold.... I looked beside me to see my friend,I fixed my eyes on him,who knows that may be the last time I will be seeing him. She stood up,pointing the gun at me.placing her hands on the trigger. Yes,here we go,my last minutes,how painful,how will mama feel when she hears about my 'departure',how will papa react? Where will I go after the sound of the arm?heaven?hell?I don't know.I started confessing all my sins at that very moment praying they are all forgiven and that I'm not denied entry into paradise by the unknown sins I've committed. I didn't know I could recite Psalm 23 perfectly until that minute,I didn't even miss an alphabet.I closed my eyes when I saw her fingers moving,expecting to see myself,somewhere I haven't been to,a sacred place,hearing the song of the saints,the song of praise to the holy One of the universe,to finally get to see the beautiful paradise and its constituents,to finally live a life free of iniquities and worries,unfortunately,she didn't pull the trigger I opened my eyes to see another surprise package,or should I say shocking package.... I looked up to see Precious pointing the gun at khola,didn't know why but it happened. Fears were evident in his face,I caused him all the troubles,I reasoned biting my lip. "Don't hurt him,you can do that to me" I pleaded pointing to the arm in her hand. "Please" "Okay,then your wish is my command" She said pointing it back,focusing on the line between my eye.Her fingers moved swiftly on the trigger and off the sound went *** I heard the sound of gunshot which made it clear to me that I wasn't hit,who was? Just then I notice someone coming in,the face seem unfamiliar but who cares?he untied Khola and did the same to me.I scanned the room but could find no one,not even bodies. "where are......" "They fled but I'm sure they will be back,so get up and lets move away from this place quickly,call me Mark" he said while we both nodded. "Not so fast" Precious showed up at that moment with two men,though no weapon were in their hands but the odds of the weapon being invisible is low. Mark signalled that we(Khola and I) calm down and should go for the two unarmed men while he will dive to get the weapon Precious held,it seem perfect but looking at the fierce face of the men standing by her,one would not doubt its a suicide mission which I'm determined to be part of,its a do or die matter now. They all moved closer and she didn't for once lose her focus with the gun.We moved some steps away from them to try make them gain more ground in less seconds and it was working,only a couple of feet separate us now. She stooped and motioned the men with her to seize us up. "Why are you engaging yourself in what doesn't concern you?I will make you regret ever coming here in the first place,she said and then switched her gaze towards,her greatest mistake. At once Mark dove and caught her waist throwing her off balance,the two others looked in their direction earning themselves a couple of punches I exerted with all the strength I've gathered since all these while. We all dashed towards the exit,just then another gunshot was heard and the sound of a fallen body rang,I couldn't look back for the fear of being caught. I cold even look sideways but I know someone was running with me,but we ought to be three,'that can wait,my escape is the Most important now' I said to myself increasing my pace.The surrounding of the building was bushy,that I couldn't see a way to run through. "Muyiwa,lets go" Someone shouted ahead of me,I looked towards the direction seeing Khola some distance away,I followed obediently as we ran away from death.It seems they are no more chasing us,I thought when I couldn't hear footsteps behind us but I couldn't dare look behind me.We ran for some minutes and then notice an highway some meters away,this gave us hope that we were almost there,but then I saw Khola stumble,hitting his head on the foot of a tree.I rushed to where he laid but didn't watch my step and I soon joined suit,stumbling but wound stop,my view was getting blur and within seconds everything was dark and silent.... *********** I looked around finding myself in the midst of bandaged people,I looked around but didn't see a familiar face until I saw who was sitting by me,Gloria....She looked thin and was far different from the one I have known,now I get the message of her suffering,why?Muyiwa doesn't care.... "Where am I?what are you doing here?where is Khola?how did it happen?Can someone explain to me?" I screamed which gained me attention from the other patient and their visitors. "Calm down Muyiwa,Khola is fine.He sustained a injuries all over his body but will get better with time." Gloria said looking concerned. "He saw you,didn't he?" "Nope,he hasn't been able to open his eye since he was brought here,doctor said he was given sleeping pills in order to make him recover fast" She explained while I sighed with relief,thank God he is alive. "what are you doing here?and how did you get to know we are here?" I asked eyeing her suspiciously "someone called me from the hospital that you were rushed here,so I came to check if its true cos I didn't believe at first" "You have seen me now,you can leave" I said. "I can't and won't leave you in this place to bear the pain all alone,please let me help even if this will be my last help" She said pleading with her eyes "I don't need your help,Get away from me" I said "Muyiwa,why are you doing this?I didn't do anything wrong by coming here,did I?" "Yes,you are the cause of what happened to us,and I won't ever forgive you for it" I said angrily trying to sit up but couldn't,what's wrong with me?pain all over my body,just then I discovered numerous bandages being placed on my skin.I looked at her again maybe I can get the answers I was looking for but I found...none. The doctor entered then smiling when he noticed that I was awake,he walked over being followed by a nurse. "How are you feeling?" "Fine,please doctor get this lady away from me and don't grant her entrance here ever again,please doc".
