Part 2 Six years after the birth of his children,Mr okeke discovered that there is crude oil in one of his land which made him to became very rich to his imaginable. Because of this reason his brother Mr ikeagbu became jealous of his brother success. One day Mr ikeagbu was alone in his house lost in thought" how can this be that My brother okeke will be this wealthy, driving flashy cars, living in a big mansion with his family. Look at his children going to a big school. All he can do for me is to build this bungalow for me and whenever I visit him he will only give me peanut, no!I can't take this anymore I must do something about this.he concluded that he must visit okeosisi the great dibia for a solution. The next morning he set out to see okeosisi the great dibia (Conversion between ikeagbu and dibia). Ikeagbu:okaramuo. Okaramadu (speaking adage to the dibia), the great dibia of our time I greet you, Okeosisi: what brings you to my shrine this early morning ikeagbu Ikeagbu: I came here because of my brother okeke Okeosisi: what about him Ikeagbu: I want him dead Okeosisi: that's simple, you know what to do. Ikeagbu deep his hand inside his pocket and brought out some naira notes and drop it on the floor Okeosisi: now you have come.. After doing some incantation Okeosisi: ikeagbu step forward,as he did he gave him a knife go and face that mirror call the name of your brother three times and strike him. Ikeagbu did as he was told Okeosisi: it is done go and celebrate Ikeagbu: okaramuo okaramadu, thank you so much I know you will never fail He stands up and leave with a full smile on his face " Rip my dear brother "

Part 3 Meanwhile Mr okeke and his family were taking their breakfast, suddenly he felt a sharp pain on his right chest he taught it was ordinary. Not until he felt another pains and slumbered.he was rush to a hospital and the doctor confirmed him dead,Mrs okeke cries bitterly when ikeagbu had the news he was very happy and left what he was doing and rush to yhi brother's house. He met people who came there to console Mrs okeke Ikeagbu: "oh brother why do you have to leave us like this,who will take care of. your wife and children eh...who will I called my brother again ewoo..my brother is gone oh..chai. Ten years later,the two girls grew up including the three boys.mmachi and munachimso was fourteen years old while chimaobi,Somtochukwu, and kamsiyochukwu was nine years old.after the death of their father life became so painful and frustrated to them. The most painful part of it was Mr ikeagbu went ahead and killed Mrs okeke and also took all possession of Mr okeke including the land that have crude oil,just two years after the burialgif his brother, whereby living the children with nothing. The two girls determine to face any challenges that will come their way,bearing in mind that tomorrow will be much better for them,mmachi and munachi became so industrious. After school the jealousie will do work for people for the menial payments to sustain themselves and also their young ones during their jss3 examination no money to forward themselves in school,but due to intelligence, hardworking towards their academics the school grant them scholarship to ss3.despite their challenges they came out with flying colours.their uncle was imaging how come those children survive without their parents.Mr ikeagbu became very jealous of them due to their industrious, academic performance, good behaviour and manners,and any other good attitude you can match them with.on other side Mr ikeagbu'children are rude,arrogant, mischievous and even endugle themselves in examination malpractice. Mr ikeagbu made a plan to send chimaobi to one of his friend in Onitsha in other to wicked him. One month later chimaobi went to Onitsha to trade with his master( Mr livinus),Mr &Mrs livinus took chimaobi as their son despite they already have 4 children 2 boys,2 girls.instead of his master to puting him into his business he send him to school together with his children in one of the best school in Onitsha

Part 4 The two girls was at the backyard cooking, suddenly somebody rushed in shouting "kamsi!kamsi!!kamsi!!! Oh...oh" munachi,mmachi and somtochi all ran after him immediately without minding that their dinner was on fire.it was about 5:30pm in the evening that kamsi was brought In by one of the villagers bleeding profusely. The two girls and Somtochi taught of what that can stop the bleeding. Somtochi brought an idea of calling a strong herbal medicine man the ideal was accepted by the two girls, Somtochi dash out as fast as his leg can carry him and called the the man,quickly the man arrived and apply some herbal medicine on it and also told them that kamsi was beaten by a dangerous snake that such a person can't survive it"am surprise that he survive it ,even when he has bleed excessively, may the gods of our land be 'praise"said by the herbal medicine man. Munachi and mmachi was delighted that their brother will be fine as those girls were praising God Somtochi interrupt them by said "I was revealed in my dream were I saw kamsi my brother dead but I soon as I lay my hand on his corpse he rose immediately" as I was thinking what kind of mistery could this be but nothing came into my memory . Sister! do you remember the them. we was praying in the this morning, you said we should pray unto God that our life are not for man, but for God Almighty!. Somtochi took a deep breath and said now I know there is power in prayer. Somtochi said to his sisters "we should pray hard and commit ourselves unto God Almighty. Three months later kamsi got healed and resume his studies, things was no longer the same as it was when chimaobi was around with them. Munachi start remembering how life was sweet to them, how their parents used to pampared them especially their dad, how he used to buy things for them, the love, caring and kind to them.until one day death snatch him away from them just like a smoke vanished to air without a trace (munachi burst into tears), as she said I wish that my parents were alive today to ease our suffering and fight uncle on that land which rightfully belong to us. (She took a deep breath) if men are given power to wish whatever they want I would be the first to wish my parents back to life again, but since God said in everything we should give him praise,well there is no problem

[5/3, 13:40] Ubanwa C.j: Part 5 Mmachi came in singing a joyous song, eha..munachi, ngozi said I should inform you about the forth coming festival that is fast approaching. You know is going to be awesome and farbelous and I wouldn't missed this occasion because is whole lot of activities to show-case like dancing, singing, beauty contest, speech competition, writing competition, cultural display, etc Mmachi keep talking not knowing that munachi was crying silently. It occurs to mmach's mind "why is my sister not responding to what I have been telling her all this while. Mmachi ask in a low voice; munach, why is your face not bright and why are you in this mood. Please talk to me Mma, sit down down (munachi finally opened up) " you know our parents are dead and no one to take care of us even the person we took as dad (Mr ikeagbu) treat us as slave and life is so wicked,frustrating and so miserable to us". Mmachi said; munachi I know is hard to wipe the memory our beloved parents and too hard to accept what life has given to us. But right now we have no alternative but to accept the nature. And I strongly believe that the Egyptians we see today we shall see them no more, and our God will never abounded those that put their trust in him. Muna please cheer up i know that God has promise to those who believe that he will fight those who fight against us, and vengeance belong to him not for man OK. My dear let's thinks about the future and stop thinking about our past. Not that am not feeling the death of our parents I am. The truth is that I have no power to wish them back to life because I mmachi Will do it, but since the power is not there I have no choice but to accept it. Speak before I descend on you , havnt I told you not to step out from this house and whenever you came back from school, do your house chaos, take your bath and sleep and then read your book. Somtochi: sister we only went to play football and nowhere else. Kamsi; yes : sister nowhere else I and somto went to field to play football. As munachi raise her hand to beat the two boys , mmachi :pls muna pardon them and you control your anger. Munachi do you know where their destiny of this boys.God might lift this boys through football "biko nne m have mercy upon them because we don't know how tomorrow will be, oya go in and take your bath and come have dinner OK. The two boys : thank you sister. Munachi: just thank your God this evening from saving you two from through the mmachi, if not I would have beat the hell out of you . Dinner time. Munachi cooked beans with ripe plantain. The boys came in smelling nice and immediately they perceived the aroma of food. Waoh! Somto are perceiving what am perceiving?, yes of course, is like sister prepared our favourite food this night. Kamsi, please I don't want her ( munachi) wahala this night,before she meet us here, you know she have hot temper. Somtochi: abeg! she go fit kill, wait let me spread perfume on my body if she like let her b the most hottest temper in the world I don't care OK. " Come oh! Which person perfume you want to spread on your body this night hope not sister's own or do you bought any perfume? Kamsi ask, somto: na their own, kamsi: you must be joking Munachi calling the two boys in a loud voice.where are this children eh does it mean they are still bathing all this while kamsi----!! Somtochukwu----!!!. Immediately the two boys came to the parlor smelling nice "ehah! Can't you feel the smell coming out from you two than before (mmachi ask) munachi: bia! bia!! I hope is not my perfume that you boys spread on your body . not on my own body kamsi quickly said . so from whose body munachi ask , somto quickly answered on my body nah. I don't blame you because I and mmachi gave you boys access to enter our own room nonsense. Nash! you people should come and eat before this food gets cold ,na which can wahala be this, una get problem oh mmachi said. They all eat the food and went to sleep. [5/3, 15:46] Ubanwa C.j: Earl in the morning kamsi was the first to woke up and stat sweeping the compound while smoto still sleeping. The girls later woke up to discover that it was only kamsi doing the house chaos. Kamsi, good morning sister, morning the two girls greeted back where is somto? Still sleeping kamsi said. By this time! . munachi went to somto's room quickly and tap him. Somto woke up and began go say "pass the Ball yes! Yes!! , shoot it eheh oh! God you have missed it again" munachi gave him a a heavy slap that somto will never forget in his life. Somto woke up immediately and discover it was just a dream. Somto:sister good morning. morning and who are were you talking to pass the ball .me said pass the ball, is not me oo somto said . munachi began to laugh will you go and find something to do this morning before going to school . The boys finish their house chaos and later went to school. During afternoon school dismissed, the two boys came back and notice that munachi was not around but only mmachi is at home cooking . sister mmachi good afternoon, afternoon how is today's study ? It went well sister just that they gave us assignment to do . its OK go and drop your bags, take your bath, .then come and carry your food OK. After you must have finish eating , you boys should go and take your nap then do your assignment OK. And play ball small OK! yes sister. As they went inside somto quickly said to kamsi, you see the reason why I love sister mmachi than munachi. Have it. been that she was one we meet now see what she would have done "eh...m drop your bags , come and eat, go fetch water and fire wood .and you boys should go and the clean the House. But look at what sister mmachi said drop your bags ,take your bath,come and carry your food, take your afternoon nap, do your assignment and then go and play small. Kamsi quickly said its true but we have no choice we have to accept her behaviour in this house and how I wish chimaobi is around things would have been a little easier for us.

Part 7 The commencement of the festival approach with so many thing to display . the agenda has already been set. The first stage was singing competition, the second stage was beauty contest, the third was dancing competition, And the last was speech competition. The villagers was were looking at ngozi and chizaram .( ngozi the daughter of Mr ikeagbu), while chizaram daughter of simon akuobi from another kindred. But were surprise to see mmachi and munachi to take the first position in the dancing competition. Then the fourth stage was called on which is speech competition. Kamsi and somto was called to present what they have. Kamsi start with the history of Nigeria while somto start with good and wrong English students commonly made in English. The crowds were shocked into silence including munachi and mmachi .the two thought that the boys are not aware of the festival not to talk of presenting a good speech. Time to call the names of those that performed very well. The mc call their names including mmachi and munachi but kamsi and Somto names were not mention in the list. The already called names were rewarded. Kamsi and Somto looked at each other and said maybe we should try harder next time. But to their surprise their king ezeonochia came forward with a piece of paper in this hand and took the microphone from the mc. He made a brief speech to the people gathering in the occasion and later called the names of those twins. Kamsi okeke and somto okeke, please come forward " I igwe ezeonochie II of umunachi hereby grant this boys scholarship to any level of their education, I will even sponsor them abroad if they wish to study there . The king also added "at 13yrs this twins were able to speak like graduate from the university and even being intelligent Beyond their age. He gave the twins their scholarship form and with a hand shake.Then the king said to both of them " keep it up OK". The both said to the king may you live long and may God continue to reward you for your kindness. Thanks your majesty. They all went home happily . Part 8 The two girls were at the front of their house gist about the festival that change their lives total, and how their secondary school life was to them then and other things while the two boys were playing football with Mr ikeagbu's children ( ikenna & uzochukwu) . ikenna and uzochi never notice that their father was coming back . immediately their father approach nearer he saw his children playing with his brother's children. As he Drive pass them he send one of his excort to go and his children. They both appear immediately to answer their father. " are you boys not ashamed of yourselves, do you want to kill yourselves eh. Uzochukwu interrupted his father; " father what do you mean, by do we want to kill ourselves, are they not our brothers? Is it because they are no more rich as they used to be when their parents was alive. Or is it because we are now rich , that you don't want us to associate with them. Daddy do you remember when their parents was rich how you use to tell us and to dine and wine with them and even to extent of passing night in their house and how their use to be kind to you even in times of our needy, how he use to provide for us. But daddy don't be angry if I may ask that land made us to be rich today are you the rightful owner? Because I can remember that, that land belong to your brother (Mr okeke), or do you kill your brother just to have access to that land daddy. [5/4, 12:51] Ubanwa C.j: Mr was burning within himself "how did those children know that land is not mine not to talk of killing kamsi's parents, ewoh--oh am in a big trouble what will I do to silent the memory of this children has utter now. Should I kill them, no I can't kill them moreover they are my children. Yes! I think I have remember what to do now. Let me hurry now and get charm from that of my great dibia. And let me see how they will remember this again nonsense". Mr ikeagbu was envy because his brother's children were progressing while his children were not, " look at them raising their ego up just because they won the dancing competition by mistake while this stupid, hopless boys won scholarship by mistake behaving as if nobody has ever won it before rubbish! I think I should also get a charm to wipe them all so that stupid family (okeke family) will go into extinision. But come to think of it if I kill the villagers will suspect that I am their killer". May the gods be praise for giving me this idea now yes! I will send this boy Somtochukwu to Lagos so that, this woman Agnes's will make life more miserable to him. While kamsi will become a thief and his sisters prostitutes. And let me see how they are going to enjoy their school. am very sure that by now that chimaobi must have been a drop out because I know his master is a very wicked man. Mr ikeagbu hurried and get the charm from his dibia and apply the charm as the way he was directed to it on his children which work perfect. Now on his brother's children he over apply it. Unfortunately the charm back fire to his children which Mr ikeagbu did not notice but happy to see the outcome of his charm in the next one week. As the dibia told him.

: Part 9 Two days later Mr ikeagbu contacted Mrs Agnes njoku who leaves in Lagos and have a restaurant business and she is also know as madam nkwobi to come take his late brother's son Somtochukwu. The woman came and carry took Somtochukwu to Lagos. Munachi and mmachi were not happy because of their brother's movemen to Lagos especially kamsi missing his two brothers . Munachi said "uncle for the past three years now, we havnt heard from our chimaobi to know whether he is a dead or alive or , his master to call us to know whether our brother Is doing well or not . Now is somto is only God who know when next we are going to see our brother and what is going to o happen next. Mr ikeagbu caution them by saying " don't you children have respect for your elders or has the but from brain been loose, can't you see that am doing this for well being of this family or do want to die of hunger. Don't you like seeing your brothers becoming somebody in life . come on will you get out of my sight now. Children of now are days are just empty vessel with no brain. The two girls left immediately together with kamsi praying to see their brothers one day. Five days later Mr ikeagbu was desperate to see the result of, he couldn't sleep nor have peace of mind. Every night ikeagbu become more desperate to see the result " are you sure whether this charm is going to work . what if it doesn't work that means I will be the loser No!No!!No!!! it must work and I believe that my great dibia okara muo, okara mmadu (speaking adage to the dibia)". One week later nothing happened, two weeks later no out come of the result, one month , two month nothing happened to those children. But instead his children began to misbehaves . Samuel the first son of Mr ikeagbu was caught stealing an expensive jewelry in the market instead of handing him over to the police , rather was handed over to bakassi. They slaughtered the boy like a chicken made for celebration. Immediately the news came to Mr ikeagbu it was like a bomb shell that made Mr ikeagbu to loose his sense. "Chai I am finished ooo, but I apply the charm the way that great dibia directed me to do or do I made a mistake in applying it . cheah! am gone ooo. As he was still lamenting another news came ugochi your daughter was involved in a fatal motor accident. We try all we could to rescued her life but unfortunately we lost her. She bleed so profusely to extent of loosing so much blood, before we could rushed her to the hospital she gave up. Sir we are so sorry about the great lost to your family, you know God gives and takes . please sir try to me a man. Mr ikeagbu cry with a loud voice Chineke mu!!! Am still crying for the death of my first son, now is the corp of my third daughter laying before me ewoh---! Ewoh---! Chea! Chea! ( Mr ikeagbu lament bitterly) please young man how were you able to identify ugochi as my daughter? Young man: we were are able to identify her through her ID card as a university student and a little diary she was holding and the information about herself she put down in our register booklet which enable us to locate any of our students in case of any eventuality. As we said earlier , please sir , be a man and may Almighty God comfort you and your family OK. [5/4, 14:43] Ubanwa C.j: We shall be on our way now, please be strong . still with a crying voice , its OK I will try to be strong, go well. Mr ikeagbu a a still staring at the corps , ugo nwa , second year student in the university of nssuka. A child that dance according to the will of her father. A child who knows the secret of her father now is dead. Is my life still completed without her? A child whenever I look at I remember her late mother . now she is gone forever. The whole villagers gather to console ikeagbu over the death of his children ( Samuel & ugochi)

There will surely war but it is not between Ikeagbu and his brother's children but it will be between Ikeagbu and God of the children.

Part 10 Mmachi, munachi and kamsi felt very sorry over the death of their cousins. It occurs to them that right now what they need is prayer. Mr ikeagbu later buried his beloved daughter in a near bush that is not far from his house with the help of the youth in that community. After the burial Mr ikeagbu was not able to sleep but keep vigil, thinking how he lost his two children just in one day "does it mean that I am responsible for the death of my two children. No I can't kill them they are my treasure I have in this entire world, they just disappeared one by one like a smoke vanished in the air, I said it before that this my brother's children are witches and witzards. Cheah! my enemies are at work . ikeagbu wake up from your slumpy and act fast before the wipe your entire linage, " tufiykwa it can't happen when am still alive". What will I do next ----oh, yes!! I will visit okara muo, so that he will tell me the cause of my sorrow and the next plan to do. The next morning ikeagbu took off his journey to consult the oracle on the cause of his sorrow. When he reach there, he narrated his sorrow to the great dibia. The dibia asked " how do you apply the charm and how many times do you called their names. Mr ikeagbu: while I called their names four times . the dibia laugh so loud , you are the of your children's death nah. I only told you to call their names two times but you went ahead and disobeyed my instruction so who is to blame?. Mr ikeagbu cried and ask the dibia " what next should I do now? I don't know and there is a great problem ahead now are you ready for the battle. Mr ikeagbu which battle are you talking about and how should I avert it. Just take this charm , listen to me never let water to touch it, secondly never let anybody to see you or talk to talk anybody until the charm is buried. Do you hear me?. Yes the great dibia. Immediately he left and followed a track bush road to avoid been seen by anyone. (Do think Mr ikeagbu will suicide in burying the charm? Find out in the next chapter)

Part 11 Since afternoon the cloud was not bright, it was as if rain wants to fall but later did not fall . it was in the night that it started raining heavily. It was as soon as Mr ikeagbu brought out the charm from the box he kept it to buried it. It rains heavily his body was wet together with the charm. He quickly remembered what the dibia told him "never let water to touch it nor to be seen by anyone. If not the charm will be Ineffective". He cries and said so all this journey I made today has become a thing of waste. All my effort , my money is now abortive. The next morning he send ikenna to go and call kamsi. Kamsi came immediately to answer the call of his uncle. Uncle you called me . yes my son go to Mathew the palm wine tapper and get me a gallon of palm wine. And if he is not around get that gallon which is blue in colour OK. Mr ikeagbu knowing full well that at time Mr Mathew won't be around and anyone who goes to someone house at that time without a permission, the punishment that will administer to such person is to be behead because is the law of the land . the innocent boy went to get the palm wine . kamsi knocked to inform the owner that he has taken the gallon of palm wine, his uncle sent him to get. But found no one is at Mr Mathew's house . on his way home he saw Mr Mathew coming back from his palm wine tapping . please my son where did you get that gallon of palm wine? At your house sir. You mean at my house OK do you see anybody there. No sir but my uncle sent me to get the gallon of palm wine in your house. I thought you are aware that I will be coming to take the gallon of palm wine Mr Mathew: will you shout up who is your uncle? My uncle is Mr ikeagbu. Letm from my uncle since you are doubting me sir. The both went to Mr ikeagbu house. Mr Mathew: knock knock who is here. Uzochukwu came out , good morning sir. Morning my son is your at home ? Yes sir . ok call him for me . Daddy somebody is here to see you . who is he ? I don't know except kamsi. Mr ikeagbu later came out and greet them . this one you visited me this early morning I hope all is well. All is well but not really well. You are Mr ikeagbu right? Of course i am and the person there is my. Brother son kamsi. Well are you the one that sent kamsi to come and get a gallon of palm wine in my house this early morning? Me , kwa, told kamsi to get a gallon of palm wine in your house? This early morning its in dream or physical. (Mr ikeagbu denied ever sending kamsi to the palm wine tapper house.).I only send kamsi to inform Jerome to bring meeting that will be held this evening. Just as he told me that he will be travelling . but uncle you called me this early morning to get gallon of palm wine in Mr Mathew's house. "May thunder strike that mouth of yours there idiot, see me see wahala this early morning ooo I only instructed you to go and inform Jerome to bring his money for the meeting since he has already annoce that he will be absence. Mazi biko I never sent this boy to such an errant to come to your house and get a gallon of palm wine. The wors of the matter is that kamsi did not tell any of his sisters of his way about and so nobody was there as witness during the time Mr ikeagbu was sending him to go and get the gallon of palm wine. Mr Mathew looks up and down and thought in his mind what shall I profit for me to allow this boy to die like a fowl even though he committed a crime or not. Rather than handling him over to the king of the land for judgment to to administer on him but let him go free. My son let this be the first and the last you will ever go to someone house and take his or her thing without the person permission, I hope I made myself clear? Yes sir it will not happen again. Please ikeagbu put your eyes on this boy so that he will not die premature. Of course I will do that because is my job.
