The Mavins Star, Reekado banks suffered quite an ordeal in the hands of SARs just yesterday, as he and his crew were driving somewhere when SARs officials launched a pursuit against them, creating the typical armed robbery scene.
There was a shock in the air, as the singer and his crew actually thought they were being attacked by armed robbers. The officials overtook them and blocked their car, stormed out of their car and raised their rifles against the singer and his crew. Worst of all, they weren’t dressed in uniform. They all had muftis on, the reason they were seen as robbers.
Reekado Banks explained further that these guys ordered them to step out of the car in surrender. They were all dead shocked. But there was a turnaround when the SARs officials noticed the Mavins Star. Narrating it all, Reekado said
“I do not even know the difference between SARS officials and armed robbers these days. The ones I met today overtook me in a regular car with no uniforms and immediately pointed their guns at us and asked that we come down from the car, and then calmed down when they noticed me. Biko what if I wasn’t me?”
