[b]A 50-year-old father, identified as Williams has allegedly impregnated his 14-year old daughter (names withheld), and subsequently murdered her in Emure Local Government Area of Ekiti State.
A popular daily stated that the father had some
few months ago ended up putting his 14-year old daughter in the family way after series of an alleged illicit affair with the teenage girl.
Neighbours who spoke with the daily noted that the news was making the rounds among the villagers while everyone began to point fingers at Williams for putting his own daughter in the
family way.
Another resident in the community who narrated what happened to the daily said that Williams
woke up on Sunday, took the teenage girl to his
farm in Aba Iso area of the community to
commit the evil act.
“We are sure Williams killed his pregnant girl sovas to cover up his crime because the girl’s
pregnancy was already becoming very
conspicuous and everyone knew that it was her father who slept with her.
”It took us a while before we were able to
apprehend Williams and drag him to the Oba’s
palace, Oba Emmanuel Adebayo who is himself a retired Police Commissioner,” the resident added. The villagers noted that the monarch has handed him over to the Civil Defence Corps who have since taken up the matter.[/b]
