Thousands of tourists have flocked to the Volcanoes National Park in Hawaii to watch lava erupt from the Kilauea Volcano and cascade into the Pacific Ocean.

Around 6,000 tourists from around the world arrived to snap the splendid natural scene. Some took photos from boats and helicopters, while others even ventured to the foot of the volcano for close-up shots.
After three years of dormancy, the Kilauea Volcano erupted this month and produced the lava, which covered around eight acres.
