Trauma Episode 2 . Continues Jummy woke up to find herself on an hospital bed. She could hardly remember what happened to her. Her two friends were sitting right beside her. "Jummy oh thank God you are awake " Bisi said. "Bisi what happened to me? " She inquired. "Don't worry about that, the major thing is that you are alive " Tolu said. The sharp pain Jummy felt between her thigh brought back the horrific memory. Tears cascaded down her cheeks as she sob. "Stop crying, let's just thank God it isn't more than this. When we came home from the club and found you almost lifeless, we were scared." explained Tolu. "That Tade guy, he will never encounter fortune in his life. Any where he goes failure will never cease to follow him " Bisi cursed. "Hahaaa Bisi, why the curse? " asked Tolu. "Can't you see this is his hand work? By the time am through with him, he will regret ever messing with you. Am going to personally report this case to the C. S. O " said Bisi. "What are you going to report when we don't have any proof that he was the one behind it or did you see the assailant's face? " Argued Tolu . "It was dark I couldn't see his face." answered Jummy. Tade a tall, muscular, fair guys was sitting under the shade of a tree with his three friends drinking and smoking heavily. Bisi walked up to him in anger. "You this fiendish creature, your message has been delivered. You fool you think you can go scot free with what you have done? Let me tell you something I Adebisi will show you hell in this campus " She threatened. "Who owns this rabid dog barking since? I think she needs a doctor " one of Tade's friend said. "It is your mother that is barking like a dog, foolish guy. You bloody nuisance, I will make sure you all end up... " She couldn't finish her sentence as Tade who had been quiet all this while swiftly brought out a knife and placed it on her throat. "If you say another single word, I swear to God am going to slit your throat. What gave you the gut to address me in such manner? " Tade spoke angrily. Bisi became as still as a stagnant river, she trembled as Tade roared at her and when he finally put down the knife, Bisi ran away like an athlete. Tolu hummed her favourite song as she sweeps the ground. When she got to the bed side, her eyes fell on something. It was a small fragment of a dark clothe. She picked it up to examine it but it doesn't look any familiar so she swept it away. Tbc

Trauma Episode 3 Jumoke walked in to the class looking melancholic. A group of girls sitting at the back greeted her and she replied them abruptly before walking down to her seat. "Ha haa what is wrong with this girl today? Can you see the way she replied us as if we have been fighting before " one of the girls said. "I wonder oooo, she is even looking as if she lost a fortune in a bet game " another lady replied. "What she lost is more than a fortune. Didn't you girls hear what happened? " the third girl asked. "What happened? " the other two girls chorused. "Tade got back at her for what she did. She got raped in her apartment on Friday night. " she explained. "Oh my God, no wonder she is looking like that. I really feel sorry for her." One of the girls said. "Why do you pity her? She got what she deserve. Am sure with what happened, all her 'I too know' attitude will reduce." the third girl replied. Jummy's ear caught what the three were saying. She placed her head on the table and began to weep silently. Suddenly a hand tapped her, she wiped out her tears before bringing up her head to see who tapped her. She realized it was Juwon the guy who had been trying to clinch with her. "What is it Juwon? " She fired. The guy looked at her surprisingly, he noticed her red eyes. "Have you been crying? What happened?" He asked but Jumoke replied her with a hiss before putting her head back on the table. He took a sit beside her. "Jummy why? Please tell me what happened. If there is any problem, maybe we can figure out a way to solve it " he pestered her. "Leave me alone. " replied Jumoke. "What ever it is just take it easy. It may not be as bad as you think but no matter what it is, remember am here for you any time any day. My shoulder is always yours to lean on. " "Let me be" She shouted at him and all the eyes in the class were trained on them. Jumoke who was lying on the bed was jolted out of her thought when the door opened and her two friends came in. "Welcome girls" She greeted. Bisi noticed traces of tears on Jummy's cheeks. "Are you still crying over this issue? " She asked. "What? " asked Jumoke asked. "There is traces of tears all over your cheeks" She answered. Jumoke's phone rang but she ignored it. "Won't you pick the call, it's from Thomas. " Said Tolu. "I don't want to talk to him right now." Jummy replied. The phone started ringing again and she was persuaded to pick it up. "Hello Darling " she said. "Good evening my love, how has the day been? " asked voice from phone. "It was fine " She answered. "You don't sound fine, what is it?" asked voice on phone. "Am having an head ache " She lied. "Oh sorry my dear, have you taken any pill? " The call went on for minutes till it finally ended. "When will you tell him what happened?" Bisi said. "I won't, he mustn't know." Jummy replied. "Why? Isn't he your fiancee? " Tolu asked. Episode 6 . Jummy was disoriented at the sight of blood dripping out from Thomas' head. When she eventually pulled herself together, she went to get the first aid box and stopped the bleeding before she and Thomas' house help took him to the hospital. "Absolutely, I can never stop loving you " He said. The girls were getting ready to sleep late Sunday evening when they heard knocks on the door. They were alarmed. Who will visit them at this ungodly hour of the night with a good intention? Bisi armed herself with the turner as she motioned for Tolu to open the door. Bisi had almost hit the strange visitor when the door creaked open until Tolu screamed "Jummy". She stepped in and dropped on the bed tiredly. "Jummy why have you decided to travel at this hour? Can't you make it tomorrow?" Tolu complained. "Am sorry, am having test very early tomorrow morning" she explained. "But when you know that, you should have left earlier" Bisi said. "I couldn't, something terrible happened " She explained what happened to them with tears. "This is so sad. Hope he has gotten better? " Tolu asked. "Yes he has. I left him in care of his house help" she replied. "But Jummy, why can't you just let him make love to you? Didn't he deserve it? After all he is your fiancee " Bisi inquired. "You don't understand. Episode 8 . Continues.. Jummy sat on the bed hugging the pillow and weeping profusely. When her two friends came in and met her devastated, they were scared. "Jummy what happened? " Tolu asked. She tried to answer but the wailing won't allow her to. "Jummy take it easy, tell us what happened? " said Bisi. "Thomas broke up with me" she finally said. "Ok, when she gets back tell her I came to check up on her when I didn't see her in class today " he said before he went his way and Bisi went back in. "Who was that? " asked Tolu. "A guy who called himself Juwon. He said he came to check up on Jummy because she wasn't in class " Bisi explained. Jummy hissed on hearing the name "Juwon". "I told him you are not in " said Bisi. "Jummy what are you going to do now, remember our exam is coming up in two weeks time. Please pull yourself together, don't let this affect your academics " Tolu advised. "I have heard you, thanks" she replied. Tade with one of his friends were sitting under a tree in the campus talking. A few yards behind them was Jummy watching them with a frowned face. Her heart beat faster as she was contemplating on what she was about to do. "Should she really do this? What she was about to do is heinous " she thought. "Yes it is but what about what those guys did to her? They ruined her life. They deserve to be paid in their own coin" she thought. "But what about the consequences ? What is going to happen to her after she fulfilled her quest? Will she be able to bear it? " she asked her self. "Yes, she is willing and ready to face any consequence of her action" with this, she made up her mind to proceed on her mission. With caution she approached them taking one step at a time to make sure they wouldn't see her until it's too late. Gradually she was closing in on them and they were oblivious of the death coming from their behind. Jummy slowly dipped her into the bag she was carrying and brought out a bottle containing liquid. She drew nearer to them in other to make sure none of them wouldn't escape her wrath, then started to uncork the bottle. As she was about to lift up the bottle's cap, a strange hand suddenly held her hand. She turned back and saw that it was Juwon. "You don't have to do this, give me the bottle" he whispered. "Free my hands Juwon" she said angrily. "I can't let you do this Jummy" he said still holding her hands. "Why can't you just leave me alone? " she cried. Her voice attracted the attention of her targets. They turned back to see Jummy and Juwon playing love. They laughed and went back to what they were doing. " I know they hurt you beyond words but please leave it to God to judge them " he said and slowly Jummy released the bottle to Juwon. Episode 10 . Continues Juwon was terrified as he saw his friend fell down unconsciously. He quickly rushed to her trying all means to revive her. Other students who were around also came to help and together they took her to the university's health center. Jummy opened her eyes hours later to see Tolu and Juwon patiently sitting by her side. When they realized she had woke up they were happy. "What happened to me? " Jummy asked as she noticed where she was. "You have nothing to worry about, how are you feeling now? " Juwon replied. Episode 11 . Continues.. Tolu held the paper to her face and carefully read it's content to confirm what Jummy had said. "This is serious trouble, how are we going to do it? " She asked in confusion. "I think the only solution we have right now is to find a way to remove it" said Bisi. The others stared at Bisi surprisingly as she gave the suggestion. "Bisi you don't mean abortion do you?" Tolu asked. "Yes I do. Why are you people staring at me as if am a devil? Is there any big deal in aborting an unwanted pregnancy? " She said. "I don't want to murder a young blood for a crime he knows nothing about " Jummy replied . Bisi drew closer to her and hold her hands. "Don't say that, this isn't your fault. Episode 16 . While the three friends were talking, they heard knocks on the door and Tolu went to check it out. The moment she realized it was Bayo she hissed. Episode 17 . The bike carrying Jummy pulled over at the gate of a duplex. She alighted along with her belongings, paid the bike man and then went to the gate. Inside a well furnished sitting room sat a man in his late fifties with a woman a little bit younger watching TV. They were surprised to see the young boy come in with luggages. "But on a more serious note, you people really offended me" grandma said. "What did we do maami? " "Why don't you tell me when Jummy wanted to get married?" grandma said. "It's not like that, I already told you on phone that it was just an introduction. Her husband is based in London, he only came home for the introduction and he has gone back. Episode 22 . Jummy was sitting down grinding pepper on a stone with her protruded belly. Sweat dripped down from her fore head to the paper she was grinding. It had been months since she had been living in the village. At first it was difficult for her to adapt to the rural life but with time, she got used to it. "Olajumoke bring that pepper now, aren't you done grinding since? " grandma called from the back yard. "Give me a few more minutes grandma " she replied before she continued the grinding. When she was done, she cleaned the grinding stone and took the pepper to grandma who was busy preparing the fire. She felt a sharp pain in her back as she handed grandma the plate but she endured it. "Thank you my daughter, you can go in and rest while I prepare the soup " grandma said. "OK ma"Jummy replied but she hadn't taken more than four steps before her legs became too heavy for her to carry. "Grandma please help me " she shouted and grandma rushed to her. "Am in pain mama, I can't carry my legs " she complained. "Your baby is coming, we will have to go to the hospital now " grandma said. With a great deal of effort, pain and struggle, Grandma got Jummy to the hospital. Immediately they got there, the nurses took her from grandma and escorted her to the labour room. Grandma was pacing through the waiting room expecting the doctor to come out. It had been three hours since they have took her grand daughter in and she had called her parent to inform them. As soon as she saw the doctor come in, she ran to him. "Doctor, how is it going? Please how is my grand daughter doing? " She asked. "Calm down ma, your grand daughter has given birth to a bouncing baby boy" he announced and grandma leapt for joy. "Can I go see her now? " she asked. "Of course, you can " the doctor replied. Mr Adewuyi was highly elated as he held his grandson in his hand. He smiled at the little creature and the baby reciprocated. He then handed the baby over to his wife. He glanced at the creature lying on the bed. "Olajumoke my daughter, how are you feeling? " he asked. "Am doing fine " she answered. A woman was also seated with her head bent down. The doctor came in and saw the two women. "Doctor please how is my son doing? " the woman asked. "He is getting better but he is in a delicate position" the doctor said. "What is the problem again?" she asked. "While we conducted our test on him, we discovered that he sustained a spinal injury and this has affected his bone marrow. We need to develop a new one for him and to do that we need a donor within two days" the doctor said. "Doctor please can I donate mine for him?" Tolu said. "Am sorry, you can't. Only his blood relation can donate the bone marrow. Please go get his brother or sister here" the doctor said. "Sir please have mercy on me, he has no siblings. He is the only one I have got " the woman explained. "What about his child? We can also use that of his child" said the doctor. "They just got married. They are still expecting child" his mother replied. "This is bad, he needs the transplant within two days or else he won't be able to walk anymore" he said. Juwon, Bolaji and Jummy were seated on a piece of cloth they spread on the sand. A cake with a candle burning on it stood in their midst. The cool beach breeze blew chilled air. "Who is a hero? A hero is someone who life throw stones of mystery and despair to but build a castle of joy and tranquility with it. Jummy you have been pushed down and trampled upon but with the help of God you rise again, this is your twenty eighth birthday.
