My love where are you,? This has been the question I have being asking my self for the past one month you left this world. I have not come in terms with reality that you are no more, I woke up every night crying, weeping and calling on God to grant me one wish, just to send you back to us. I call you my first love because there is no secret we hide from ourselves, you know my in and out, you were my confidant, we have been through a lot together. Before I resigned where I was working, my colleagues used to be jealous of us, cause there is no day that passes by we don't talk up to five times on phone, is it your motherly advice, you never joked with me and my brother, you gave your all to make sure we had the best. I still remember all your unannounced visit to my hostel and school to check if me and my room mate were in school, you were a mother to all. I used to see all politician as liars, cunning people, but when you joined politics in 2002, you stood in the path of truth and honesty. You fought your local government chairman when he was stealing from the local government fund, you called EFCC to come and probe him, that incident is still fresh in my memory cause I was in the office that day when my colleague called my attention to what is happening in my state, I was shock when I saw your name in the paper, I was also happy that you were fighting corruption. Iyom is it the sleepless night we had when you where contesting for House of Assembly last year, you were a fighter, you never gave up.
All our plans together, but I won't question God, God knows the best.
Adieu Woman Leader,
Adieu Queen d Queen,
Adieu Honourable,
Adieu Iyom Uwgumusinach
Till we meet to part no more! Rest in peace my Love!!!
