I woke up i did not no where i was, as i was still trying to figure it out i saw a magnificent figure sitting beside me i could no figure who she was but the face looked familiar i asked with a soft and gentle voice “please who are you, and where am i”? She replied, am your moment you are in the hospital. I ask if she was sure she said “yes am your mum and you are in the hospital i smiled and i asked “do i have a mother”? Tears rolled down her eyes as she began to explain how i got involved in a car accident and it affected my brain resulting to lost of memory but the only thing i could remember is that i was in a car then i woke up in an hospital bed, i asked if i any body apart from me survived the accident she said no that i was the only surviving soul immediately a name came in to my mind and i asked “mom who is angel she smiled and said” i dont know” i asked if she was sure she replied “yes” .
Just then then the doctor came in looked at me, shucked his head then told my mum that the lost of memory was sevie and that it would take me a year to recover that’s if am lucky enough, he also said that as long as the lost of memory last i will not remember anybody or thing from my past exception of the new friends am bound to make. I layed still staring at them like a child that is seeing someone for the first time, he continued talking while my mum continued Listening the last thing i heard him say was that my mum shouldn’t make me angry whether by mistake or purposefully reason being that it will affect my brain there by prolonging the healing process.
I asked my mum if i have a name she said yes that my name is Mark Brown but i loved being called Brown, i chuckled as i asked “what kind of name is that? Who gave it to me”? She said my dad and i asked “who is my dad? Where is he? Is he dead? Why is he not here? She replied “your dad died long ago” as she cried and started raining curses on the devil “devil why? What has my son done to you to deserve this terrible accident? As if that was not enough you tempered with his memories now he does not even know who i am and who his dad is, I joined her in the cry we cried, the more i cried the more my head start panning me. When the doctor came in and saw me crying he queried my mum “why is he crying please he should Neva cry while in this condition, any thing that would make him to cry in this condition please stop it or else his condition will get worse.
