Life can be so funny at times you know, and many innocents are in prison suffering from what dey know nothing about.
This is my story.
It's a market day as usual just as every other nine-days in Makun-omi community. It was raining heavily this day and my sent me to purchase some things for him at the market, so I took my dad's 2nd umbrella and left. Our is not far from the Ajebo market (that's the name of the market at Makun-omi my town). After trekking for 6minutes I got to the market and within a short time I'm through with buying and was heading to the western exit of the market, the path to my home.
I's about to step out of the market when I began to hear shouts behind me. Heysss! heysss! heysss. I don't know it was me the person was calling and I continued walking away and the heyss turn to theif! thief! Still I keep on walking and didn't look back atall but I notice the noise is grewing nearer and louder. I's about to look back when a hot slap landed on my cheek.

Umbrella theif part 2. This is my real life experience pls don't miss it. ************** I held my left cheek with my left hand. I blinked my eyes and tears began flowing freely. You this theif you stole my umbrella., the woman said but I kept mute crying silently not bcos of the slap but for the shame bcos not even once have I ever been accused of stealing in my life, but here I was accused and humilated in public for nothing I never did. Madam what happened? One of the market security asked. He's a theif, he stole my umbrella. the woman answer. Me stole your umbrella? This umbrella was mine, my dad bought it for me. I chipped in. Just as I finished my statement, I sighted one of my neighbours and sent him to my dad to come now. As the matter was getting hotter people began momuring he did, no he didn't, the boy looks so innocent and can never do it. Just as this aguement was going my dad came and asked wats happening and I explained everything to him and I could clealy see anger rising in him. TBC

After narrating everyting to my dad, he faced the woman nd asked. Hey! woman what's the matter with my son. The woman said 9days ago which was the previous market that her umbrella was stolen nd just today she was saw thesame Umbrella with this boy, pointing her finger to me. Then what re you insinuating? my dad asked. He stole my umbre....! her words was cut short with a hot slap from the . Market's security team's leader. PAAAA! Everybody around was supprised. why did you slap her? my dad couldn't help but ask. We are really sorry 4 the insults this woman had brought unto your innocent boy. Late last market an umbrella was brought to our office, it's clear that it was left behind by the owner and we were waiting 4 the owner to come make a report nd not to make wrong accusations nd this was her 4th wrong accusation made. Everyone was shocked at the turn out of event. My dad wanted to call the cops to get her arrested but the woman nd other ppl started begging me and my dad, nd we let go of it. THE END.
