Chris p.o.v I woke up,it was still dark and there wasnt power supply. I said my prayers and walked out of my room, i met my elder brother, Simon watching tv in the parlour. He was with a cup of wine and didnt notice my presence. I called his name, he got startled and looked back quickly while trying to hide the cup of wine he was with. “Chris, what are you doing up now”he asked. I found it rather awkward he was asking that. “I have to prepare for school”i replied and walked out. I went to brush and have my bath, after that, i went to meet my parents for my feeding allowance, they were still asleep. i tapped my mum, she opened the drawer close to the bed and brought out a #1000 naira note and gave me then i left. ***at school*** It has been long i have been in school, the second term was just beginning, i was walking down to my class, i saw a group of my classmates, they ran towards me and ended up pushing me backwards and i fell on someone Alices p.o.v I was just coming to school while reading a novel,i had been so engrossed in that book since on saturday.Suddenly someone fell backwards on me.i bruised my elbow a little,i wanted to shout at the person but let it go when i saw it was chris.Lets just say i have a little crush on him.he was a gentle simple going person.He was not really a girls person,he hardly talks to girls.”sorry”he apologized.”no p”i said.I walked on to class and met my bestie,rose in class,she ran and came to hug me. Chris p.o.v After the incident,shyness covered me.the guys just laughed at me,then we went to our zone where they met with their girlfriends,although i did not have one,i couldnt even have a conversation with a girl.i sometimes ask myself why i am like that.about six girls trooped in,i left cause if i stayed, embarassment was sure.i was walking to class when i heard my name,i stopped and looked back.”hi”she said……. Chris p.o.v "hi"i replied back,it was helen,i noticed she had been trying to talk to me and she was always smiling at me,i sensed she liked me,i felt shy but tried not to show it."how you doing"she asked,"fine,you?"i asked back,she replied"same",then an awkward silence came up."WTF"i thought in my mind.the silence lasted up to 25 seconds."Helen"someone shouted from back,it was shade,she excused herself to meet shade they hugged,i quickly left of there to avoid further awkward moments. Eugines p.o.v I was watching helen and chris smiling at each other.Helen was a girl i liked since i joined the dominics high in jss3,i tried talking to her but she always wave me off,now she is smiling to someone else,"if he knows what is good for him he better stay away from her"i thought in my mind and left. *in class* I was looking at helen,she would look at chris and continuously and look away when he looked back,he caught her once and they both chuckled quietly.Chris excused himself to go use the bathroom,the teacher let him go,about 1 minute later,a junior student came to tell helen the principal asked for her,i got suspicious so g also took excuse to go use the toilet.I got there and met chris sitting on one stick near the toilet,i started approaching him,he didnt notice my presence.As i was about getting to him, a teacher showed up,i stylishly redirect into the toilet while chris went out. chris p.o.v As i saw the teacher,i quickly stood up and started walking to class,i met helen also walking to class,i got to the door entrance of our class first,she called me to wait for her while she catwalked to meet me.My heart had already gone far........
