AJIBOYE SEYI SAMSON

Let it be trending everywhere that someday things will fall apart. When every route would be blocked.
That our pertinacious dreams and goals would ceased to accomplished. When our sanctimonious and petrified impression would be meaningless and fearless. At that extreme point you'd think you're self actualised, crowned to the peak but everything would be futile within a second. No wonder it's inevitable.
Kindly asked yourself who's next? You or I?
.
It saddened my heart when the voice keep on ranting amidst the thin air, weeping, shrieking and crying out loud. Where could it comes from? The feminist voices. The sound of their ragged breathing could be audible to the deaf, the higgledy piggledy strewn of the crowd could be visible to the blind. "Is it true- se oto ni?" They keep on chanting. Alas! I saw his empty,
He sees no more
He hear no more
He talks no no more
'Is that the end?'
.
'The decree of predestination of mankind is absolutely nothing but death' the man that I saw yesterday afternoon after it rained, chaffing as usual before going back to complete his work at site. He looked completely healthy. He was once a BRT driver before relocating to his new site. During the hardship, he learnt bricklaying at old age and was free 4years ago, he often cut bush whenever bricklaying becomes scarcity.
Yesterday, as the brightest day just dawn, he and his son went to complete their work, he rode his bike home around 12, before it rained. Around 3pm, he went back after it stopped raining to picked his son, we met together and I hailed him his routined slang 'gbenusi- put mouth inside'
'E o le daje- you can't eat alone' he replied while we had a garrulous chaffing.
.
That's his nature, he jokes with everyone, even with a two years old child. He's over 45, he often calmly accepts insult, irrespective of the statement and turned it to jokes, he has never flared with anger, evening if he has, that should be with his family. I never knew, I was giggling with a dead man. Just the way you and I. Kindly asked yourself who's next?
While getting to the spot where his son was working, he had almost through. He picked the cutlass and was cutting, while telling his son to get prepared for home. Within two minutes, his toe hit a grass root and fell down, his son whom witnessed the incident rushed to help him, he insist that hir should go outside and call a certain man for help. He had gave up to the ghost before the son comes back.
.
You and I were eating, drinking, moving freely, managed primly struggling for our psychological needs. Whilst we never knew the value of our creator. We've died several times while sleeping and he awake us back.
It was this same man that rescued me on Tuesday, maybe I'd have join the ancestors, my status on Sunday briefing stating that I'm ill. I had planned to resume to office on Tuesday, since Monday was public holiday, even though I'm not yet OK.
"Gbagbagba.. Ajisam wake up" I was awaken by 4.20am since I've instructed them to please wake me up, due to the drugs I had taken the previous night.
I replied " I can't go again, I'm not ok"
By 8.am on Tuesday, I was immensely sweating, internally, feeling dizzy, plodded to the backyard to pee, then I fell and fainted,

....fast forward....
It was this same man and some neighbour that rescued me. Later in the day, I still came online to crack hilarious jokes simply because it runs in the vein. I wonder what the latter maybe if it assumed to be a temple atmosphere, when no one is available to help. Maybe photo's and harsh tag of 'RIP' would have overwhelmed my timeline that day. Some would claimed that "they saw him yesterday now".
.
Who's next?
Scrupulously scrutinized your attitude. Today at his burial ceremony, the Alfa when preaching made the statement " who's next person."
Everyone snapped at one another. The statement keep on pounding like pounded yam. I soliloquize, "maybe it's me, but Ajisam, if death arrived today, am I truly prepared"
The cleric man continued " upon all his efforts and struggle to provides for his wives and 7 children, see the end, 6 feet's. Death!" A man who struggled ti rescued my life but cannot save his life. it shows his might God is. Awamaridi- its dynamic. no wonder a lamb can clearly see everyone buttock but cannot see it's own.
.
He has succeeded in writing his own epistle.
Then its death that do kill, but now. Its man and death. Series of assassinations here and there, the ritualist, fraternity killings, armed robbers etc.
SOMEDAY OUR
Power will be powerless.
Money will be useless
Intelligent will be wishy washy.
.
Someday You and I will sleep and will never wake up. We'd went out and will never come back. Likewise our social account will ceased to function.
Let's always thank God for his safety, forget about power, post, authority. Everything belongs to God. Deceit from your evil act because it might be you.
Lord forgive us our sin. Amen.
