A Florida woman who was convicted of cooking her neighbour after strangling and dismembering him has been sentenced to spend the remnants of her life in prison. Associated Press
reports:

A Volusia County judge sentence 42-year-old Angela Stoldt on Friday. She was convicted of first-
degree murder.
Authorities say Stoldt tried to cremate 36-year-old James Sheaffer’s body in
April 2013 by putting
several body parts in an oven and in pots on the stove. When that didn’t work, she put his body parts in bags and threw them in the trash.
Authorities say Stoldt relied on Sheaffer for money, although their relationship was platonic, and that
money was the motive for the murder.
According to the Daytona Beach News-Journal, Stoldt said she killed Sheaffer in
self-defense. [hupso]
