Eniola was being led out of the house in a
handcuff, by fully armed police officers. His
white has now turned red soak with blood. His
eyes where red as if the next set of tears in
his eyes will be blood. His trouser where also
soaked with blood. He was being led into a
waiting police van in there compound. People
where seen strugling to see the drama in the
hot sun.
The relationship between was seen as
enviable one in the neighborhood. If not that
they knew then before they would have
thought that she is a sugar mummy to Eniola.
Mrs Akinola who was their neigbour told the
person standing beside her the relationship
between the son and mother.
"If you are new in this area and see the two

His face was buried in a big bucket filled
with water. Still he didn't confess. They then
cover his face with a towel, pour water on his
face that he was unconscious. After he was
revived, he didn't talk also. He was taken back
to the cell in frustration.

sharply. I often see them with Akin each time
we visit hin in school.
Lola, Tunde, and opar where waiting for akin
there friend to come out. As the case is, they
are only allowed to go inside if akin's parent

"Look at you", tunde cuts in. "Are we

Inside the house. Akin' father and mother are
busy with their sermon telling him to be of
good behavior once he gets to school.

Outside the house, Akin joined his friends
and told them they should start going with a

was outside Eniola's house. He was confused
where eniola might be. He search the
compound but found no one.
"Where is he" He taught , he isn't in school
and not at home, his phone is even switch off.
"Eniola!", he called again, as he was about to
leave the compound, he heard a voice behind
him.
"Who are you looking for?". Mr Adesire
asked.
Mr Adesire is the DPO of the station where
Eniola was. He is also shade's father who
once fight with Eniola over shade. He lives in
the same rented building with is Family, the
same compound Eniola and his mum lives in.
"Good evening sir", Akin replied. "I am
looking for eniola".
"What for?" He asked.
"I just came to visit him sir" he replied. There
is something I wanna see him for sir.
"Okay then", Mr Adesire said. I will deliver
your message when he comes".
"Thanks sir", he replied. Bye.
"Do you live nearby? Mr Adesire asked.

Lola Tunde and opar came to Akin's house to
report to his parent about is arrest. They met
an armed office at the gate.
"Good evening sir", Lola greated one of the
oficers in front of akins house.

"We want to see General and Mrs Arikoye
sir," they chorused
"Who are the people there" Mrs. Arikoye
asked.
"They are akin's friends", he answered. I
think they are asking for you ma, should I let

After they enter. They met Mr and Mrs arikoye
at the lawn of the big compound. The way
military officers parade the compound made
lola shivers. Its as if the ground should open
and swallow her.
"Yes, what can we do for you". mrs Arikoye
asked them
"Yes ma," tunde started. This morning,
some ploce station stormed our house and
arrest akin, ma".
"What" mr Arikoye cuts in. What has he
done and why didn't they arrest the three of
you?

The three went into a car and general and mrs
arikoye followed in another car with full
armed army.

that day. It was when I returned to school and

inspector skede asked.

Inspector skede and his junoir inspector tolu
went to visit Mr. Alabi. Mr alabi is the
immediate junior brother of eniola's father. He
has a kind of hatred attitude to eniola
because of something personally know to him.
They met him outside and greeted him
"Good evening sir", they greeted. "I am
inspector skede and this is inspector tolu from
area G police station. We came here to ask
you one or two questions about the death of
your brother's wife".
"Hmm", he sighted. "What do you want now",
he sighted.
"Sir we want you to tell us what you know
about eniola", they asked him.
"Eniola is a stubborn child", he started. "
We can't trust nowadays children, they can do
and undo". he said
"So what you are telling us now is that
eniola can kill his mum", inspector Tolu asks
"I don't say that", replied sharply. But you
can't trust anybody. He might see his mother
with another man and kill his mum. But if you
want to know him fully. Interview his friends
and hear what they will say. I hope that can
help you.
"Thanks sir", they said. If we ask any
question we will come back. Bye sir.
"Bye my children" he said as he entered his
house.

confession. Julius is the only son of mr and
mrs adesire and brother to shola, Eniola's
girlfriend. He is also eniola friend because
they live in the compound.

is one day when I and eniola was going out,
on the way we saw a lady being harassed by a
man. According to the lady, the man touch
her boom boom. As we are separating them,
the man abused eniola of not minding his
own business. He told eniola that did he slaps
his mum's bum. Mere hear his mum, he jump
on him and beat the man to black and blue.
That show how much he loves his mother.
"Ok. Have you ever seen him and his mother
fight before?" Inspector tolu asked
"Hmmmm. No not really", he answered. "I
haven't seen them fight before. The might
have fought but I don't know about it"
"Where were you that night when the murder
took place?", inspector skede asked
"am not at home. I slept at a friends place ",
he answered.
"Thanks honoring our invitation julius", they
continued. If we have any other question we
will call on you.
Julius then went to visit his father in his
office

starts her confession. Eniola use to tell him

their flat. I met my father and beat the hell
out of me. Wheneniola and his mum heard my
screaming they rush out and plaed on my
behalf. My father then said he would deal with
eniola. Fighting ensued that day. That all I
know about that.
"Okay. You can go". They told her

"Sir ", he started. In our investigation sir. We
learn that you told eniola that you will deal

"What", he shouted. "Is it because I allowed
you to question my children. What's the
meaning of all this. Are u saying I killed him?"
"No sir", he replied. "But"
"But what?"He shouted.
He stretched his hands and said
"Arrest me then"
